The Lady and The Brush

Aime painted the entire interior of my home. She also painted my screened in porch as well as the window shutters. She did an excellent job. Her price was more than fair for the quality of work.

No lady and no brush. It is hard to rate this. It should be 0. She put us off for months, contract signed in April, said she expected to do it beginning early September. She showed up and said we should have supplied the paint. She was supposed to match and buy and we would reimburse. She was supposed to do inside and out, but the only part of the outside that really needed it was the deck, which has new unpainted wood and she said she would not do the deck. I said I would pay extra for the deck, thinking it was a misunderstanding, We have a clean water stream so no paint can go in the drains, which we had explained to her. She said she never heard of it. I told her how we handle paint again. She said she could not do it. She had no assistant, as she had said she had, Then she walked away, leaving us in mid November with no options. SO unprofessional and dishonest.

Amie is punctual, efficient, thorough, professional and just an all around lovely person. She and her partner did a wonderful job. I highly recommend The Lady and the Brush and will definitely call on her again!

Very responsive to my initial inquiry, and questions once she was on the job. Because of a surprise wedding planned for my home, I needed a little "touch up" painting. On very little notice, Aimee agreed to drive 50 miles to my home in Manakin-Sabot to complete the job. She was prompt and rid a fantastic job.

Would have rated 6.0 on your 5.0 scale. Until recently hampered by new health challenges, I've always personally performed our own painting projects, interior and exterior. But, this seasoned professional worked with the same (or, better) attention to detail I always sought, myself. Plus, her prompt response, pricing fairness, punctuality and prideful work ethic makes it a cinch to hire her again- if I can no longer return to my own do-it-yourself painting projects.
