Terry Buchanan gave me a "ballpark figure" and told me when he could do the work. The final bill was lower than the original estimate. Terry and his crew showed up when I was told they would be here, did the work, cleaned up and finished all in one day. Terry told me to call him if I had any problems with the new sod. I would use Terry's lawn service again if the need ever arose again. Good job Terry.

Due to a wet spring and start of summer the lawn was quite long. Terry and his crew made short work of the lawn and trimmed a blue spruce for us in the front yard. The lawn look great and the tree has never looked this good before. I am very please with with his company. He has the weekly job of if we need extras, he will be the first one called.

Quality service, quick response to requests

I hired Terry and his crew to do Fall cleanup at my recently deceased sons home in Boise. My stated goal is to provide his widow with some of the support around the house that my son would have had he not passed away so unexpectedly. Terrys crew did the work very efficiently and neatly, at a price I felt acceptable. So, I asked him for a bid to mow and trim the lawn on the bi-weekly schedule that had proven best over my sons decade of experience in the house. Terry gave me a bid and agreed to the bi-weekly schedule. I received and promptly paid, for the work in April. However, I was surprised by the bill for May. The frequency had been changed to weekly which resulted in a 60% increase in cost for the five weeks over the predicted cost for the agreed upon bi-weekly schedule. This change was neither discussed nor approved by myself or my daughter in law, so I inquired of Terry how it had come to be. I received a convoluted series of excuses and bad math (never a word of apology for his unilateral action). There was not even an acknowledgment of his having violated his agreement by changing it without consulting me. Bottom line, we parted. As I told him in our text conversation, I was taught by my father that *mans word is as good as his bond*. Apparently that is only true for some men; it is clearly not the ethos at The Lawn Barber Experience... not even his written word. Sadly and truthfully submitted.
