The Magic Beans Landscaping LLC is a Landscape Design Buisness located in Boulder Colorado. We deliver quality work for a great price! Practicing thorough communication with clients and spectacular work ethic we are sure to meet all of our clients needs. Landscaping is a hard job and it's even harder to find the right company. When choosing a landscape designer your trying to have the landscape stay in tact and looking good for 15 to 30 years minimum; we provide the quality that our clients want as well as a good price. Being only 4 year in business has ecxelled. We hold an average 4.5 Star Review on Google, HomeAdvisor, and Facebook. Megan and her crew worked hard to install multiple trees in our yard complete with new irrigation. When the trees had an issue, Megan was here to diagnose and solve the issue. Our driveway and entryway are so much nicer thanks to Magic Beans. Will definitely hire again.

I hired Magic Beans to do a basic yard clean up. The only thing not-basic about the job was the large size of our yard (probably 4 times the typical yard) and the years of neglect it had with the prior owner. Megan and her partner Molly are amazing. They and the others they had working for them worked so hard getting out dead overgrown ground cover, shrubs and saplings. Exactly what we needed. They hauled it all away. It would have taken my husband and me two break backing weekends to do what they did in 1 day. Simply amazing!! Definitely worth it.

Megan and her co-worker did a super job trimming our bushes and shrubs for fall. They were very careful to leave a clean yard, which we really appreciated. They were courteous and professional. The Magic Beans Work! Me and my wife have been using Megan at Magic Beans Landscaping for over a year now and have been nothing but impressed from the first day. Any of the crew members that come out for our weekly service are so professional, courteous, and overall awesome. They always take the time to answer any questions that we have and offer us advice for improving the lawn and landscaping. Megan was very prompt to respond to email inquiries and very budget friendly. Megan and Magic Beans was extremely easy to reach out to and get her to come out and give me a quote. Once it was time to start the work there were some issues on their part renting a trailer (not a problem once the cause was explained to me). They were doing what seemed to be a great job but after almost a full day of work Megan texted me that the scope of the work was a lot bigger and that she was not going to be able to finish the work for the price she had set. I get that jobs can get out of hand but only 1/10th of the job was actually done. At this point she charged based on itemized costs, which we never agreed to. If you are dead set on working with Magic Beans make sure that you have a very clear contract stating exactly what work is going to be done and at what price. Otherwise expect for the costs to be on YOU if Megan doesn't provide an appropriate quote.

This is not a professional landscaping company. The work was not completed as agreed, and, in fact, my lawn, shrubs, and trees sustained some damage due to careless mowing and trimming. The sprinkler installer did nothing to actually check the functioning of the system, and it also does not work. I got zero value for the money spent.

For the standard sized yard quoted at $800 to include removal of tree's, trimmings, include weeding of small brick cracks, all garden beds, irrigation check, mow in the front and whack in the back, along with dealing with the wasp nest in the back left corner of the property. You got a absolute score for the work we did, I remember being out there with two others for 2 days working for you and payment was a huge issue after the job was done. Generally satisfied with work, but felt horribly misused by the company with a ton of additional fees that were not mentioned until they were at my home ready to work, and I was very anxious to have the work done. As to the $45 hauling fee, that was not even mentioned until they were getting ready to leave. In addition, they charged me an extra $35 for 2 people for 1/2 hour. They worked for 2.5 hours, but charged me for 3. Finally, but importantly, they forgot to bring a blower. As a result, the pine cones and needles that I was most interested in getting rid of, are still on my all small stone back yard. They offered to return the next day with a blower, for an additional $35, but by then, I did not want to see them ever again. In addition, had they cleaned up the pine cones and needles, I had no place to put them so they would have ripped me for another $45 to cart them away. They do nice work if you do not care how much it costs. I do, so I will make other arrangements for my next yard cleanup.

Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up
Starting with the estimate, Megan was wonderful and too excellent notes on the project. They did ask for a small estimate fee, but it wasn't unreasonable. The four guys they sent to do the cleanup were professionally dressed, came prepared, and did a second walkthrough to confirm the details of the job. We had agreed to a 10am start time. The workers arrived a little late, but again, not unreasonable so. They are currently working on the yard, and doing a great job so far. I will update my review after the project is done.
