Mike came out 6-15-10 worked on icebox for about a $100.00. It was never fixed. After repeated calls that were never returned and appointments (two) that he never cancelled or showed up, i called another company. Not only am I out the original charge but bought a part as he told me to buy that I do not need. And the phone number is not working. No recommendation but will look into other actions.

Michael is extremely reliable. He came out to my house multiple times until my problem with my ice machine was fixed. He came out the same day and after ordering parts came the day he got them in. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend. Also Michael will tell you the price he pays for parts and then gives you a labor price. I learned the hard way with ANOTHER COMPANY that tried to charge me $450.00 for a computer for my fridge. Michael charged me a flat service fee and the computer was only $78.00. I love knowing what I am paying for and what he is making that way I dont feel ripped off :) THANKS Michael :)

Michael was great to work with. He was flexible to help in meeting my needs, prompt, and very thorough and efficient in completing the repairs. He also took time to explain the problem, what was needed to fix it, and how to prevent it in the future. The cost was very reasonable.

Michael Nelson was paid $64.00 for troubleshooting Maytag wall oven to determine the cause of malfunction. Error code F-5 had shown on control panel when trying to start oven. He said the electronic igniter was bad, which I had just replaced with a new one, he claimed his check of is showed it was malfunctioning. I replaced it again with a new one from a parts supply store he recommended, which had the same ohm reading as the first one purchased and did not change the error code F-5 reading. He said he would come out again to test it further, an appointment at 6PM May 21 was set. He did NOT show up. Next, I asked for a refund, he just hung up

He did a quick and efficient job, and was able to come the same day we called. Our only issue was that he brought his kids with him. I wouldn't have minded him just coming when his kids wouldn't have had to join him, but he didn't tell us his kids were with him until they came running into our home. I have two oung kids of my own, and didn't really want to babysit someone elses that evening while trying to get mine ready for bed.

Needed a repair service and after placing the call trough Service Magic, Michael called and ask what was the problem after a brief description, he pin pointed the damage and gave the budget of the repair. Although the time was 7:30pm and was 1 hour from my house, he arrived and repair the refigerator in the mimimun time. Great, reliable and trustworthy service!

Mr. Nelson was on time to see the Oven. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the oven within the same day. the cost is reasonable and he gave us one year warranty over the parts that were replaced.

I had a fairly simple small job and he was quick to respond, quick to schedule, showed up when he was supposed to, even called when he was a few minutes away. He explained the problem and the solution. I even hired him on the spot for a 2nd job and what turned out to be a bigger issue (the fridge fan was dying). I will refer him again and I will call him again.

They called before I could even read the email service magic sent me. Michael cam out that day and everything has been working well since. Michael also does a great job following up. I would recommend The Nelson group.

Immediate response by phone even though it was a Saturday evening; arrived within an hour which was prior to his estimated arrival; very professional. Cannot comment on repair quality, because ours ended up being a plumbing problem instead of an appliance problem. Mr. Nelson did help us evaluate the problem so we could move on with our repair.

I would definitely recommend the Nelson Group. They have a flat rate, whether it takes one hour or 10 hours. I called this company as they came the exact same evening at 8:30 and the rate was as promised. The quality of work was very good, and I even received a follow-up call 48 hours later to make sure that my equipment was working properly. I would definitely use this company again, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Other companies in the area wanted to charge a service fee, then an hourly charge. Found Nelson group after a very poor experience with Sears. Mike called me fairly quickly after leaving my info with Service Magic. I was able to get an appointment the next day to install a dishwasher. He called ahead when he was on his way (a novelty after dealing with Sears). Took the time to get a missing piece and installed everything. He will be the first person I call if I have an appliance problem.

On time. Fixed the problem. Would recommend to friends.
