The Paint Doctor is family owned and operated. The company was founded in 1993. We have been in business for over 24 years. We use the finest Master painters; all have a minimum of 12 years of experience, and Journeymen painters with over 18 years of experience. The Paint Doctor paints upwards of 700 plus homes a year to include properties like The Phoenix Zoo and many properties in the community. We are an accredited member of the BBB with an A+ rating and a Gold Star Award.

From the bid process to the end result, we couldn't be more satisfied as homeowners.... Brian is a professional and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, gave us an affordable quote, and his team delivered entirely on what he promised...We hired the Paint Doctor to repair some of the stucco on the exterior of our home, and complete a whole home repaint... I wrote a review just after the paint job was completed. After spending the next 10 days putting our home back together I feel I owe future customers a further review. This company came highly recommended. Had I not pointed out several flaws in the job they would have left without correcting them. Then after moving our furniture back in place we discovered more walls with blotches and spots not painted. We found more holes not filled. We discovered paint on furniture and floors. This was not the professional job I expected or paid for. We have been cleaning paint dust from furniture and floors for two weeks. They failed to cleanup after themselves each day and the dust collected on furniture and spread through the entire home. Certainly not a professional job!

Scheduling was handled very professionally and crew showed up when expected. They worked around the weather and did exterior painting early January when there was a week of warm weather. Prep is of course most important and looked like it was done very thoroughly. I am very happy with the results and the process was handled excellently.

The owner extremely nice and professional. A bit on the expensive side but I was in a hurry to get it done. My problem comes his employees. I believe George was the painters name Some how he talked his way in to having my mom purchase food from his mother. My mom's elderly and she is easily pushed in to things. The real mess is the painter then gave my number to his mom. She repeatedly called me asking about the food purchase I had no idea about. Workers showed up late the second day. Crew was just unprofessional but gave a decent result. Except for a little sloppy trim work and a stain already coming back.

We were given several options for the job, unlike the other company we consulted. The day after Paint Doctor's estimate for painting our kitchen cabinets, Chad started the project and finished it in 2.5 days. The white cabinets really brighten up the kitchen, and Chad even gave us a tip on whitening up our stained kitchen floors.

The Paint Doctor stuccoed and painted my house. It was a good experience throughout the project. Brian was knowledgeable and thorough giving me options and working with me on the cost. Bridgette was great in supporting me in color choices. Daniel and his crew were professional in prepping and stuccoing the house and Chad has great work ethic, experience and completed the project. It's like I have a new house, and I love it!

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. We hired Paint Dr in June 2017 to repaint our rental property that we were getting ready to list for sale. Paint Dr was hired to paint the entire exterior and all interior surfaces except ceilings. The entire job cost around $13000 (of which only about $3000 was paint costs). One of the co-owners came out and gave us the estimate. He was very thorough, seemed knowledgeable and professional (plus the reviews online were good) so we decided to hire them, despite them being the highest bid. Here is a list of the problems we encountered: Our contract stated a master painter would oversee the project and the crew, what we got was a 20 year old kid. We were promised an experienced, professional crew, what we got was a rude group (with the exception of the kid) and they drank on the job. When Paint Dr was working on the interior, they were the only trade on site and at the end of each day we would find beer cans. Our contract stated that they would power wash the entire exterior of the home, make sure all screws/nails were tight (if not they would replace with new screws) and that they would patch any holes and re-caulk anything that needed what we got: the house was never power washed, areas that needed caulk didn't received it and no holes were filled (not even ones right next to the front door). Our contracted stated we would receive two coats of paint on the exterior and interior wallsâ¦.they only applied one coat to both the interior and exterior. They only applied a second coat to the exterior after we brought the co-owner out. They also failed to paint areas of the wall behind several of the doors in the bathrooms and bedrooms. We were promised they would put down drop cloths and tape everything to insure that paint didn't get anywhere it wasn't wanted. The exterior of the home was to be sprayed and interior was to be rolled. No measures were taken to protect our landscaping when painting the exterior. There was over spray on everything. They "fixed" it by kicking the rocks around (after we pointed it out to the co-owner) so that it'd be less noticeable. They never cleaned the over spray off the windows or bricks. And my flowers and little bushes were crushed in multiple areas. Additionally, they sprayed the entire interior and used flimsy plastic "drop cloths" that tore easy. Everything inside (all finishes, windows, new granite counters, new tile kitchen backsplash, new carpet and wood floors) was covered in over spray or paint drips. They filled and cleaned out their paint sprayer in the middle of our front lawn, killing all the grass in that area. The co-owners solution was to have his team "spray-paint the dead area green". They also left all their tools and trash and paint buckets all over the lawn killing and damaging several other areas. They didn't rehang any of the doors correctly or in the right places fairly obvious since none of them would close all the

"We wanted to respond to the review written by Leigh Perry. We did perform work on their house while they were selling it. We have finished their house almost 9 months ago and were never called before this review. If there was any issues we would have been very willing to address them if they had contacted us. When we had finished we were paid after the walkthrough and everything looked good at the time we had walked it. The painter there has been with us for several years and we've never had any issues. He is still with us and paints and average of 2-3 houses a week with customers that love his work. We have never heard any one ever say that there was alcohol on the job site on any jobs he has done in the last several years. I'm not sure where those came from but I can't imagine them coming from our painters as we've never had another comment about that in the entire time he has been with us. We did take the grass area seriously. The grass will grow back naturally but since they were selling their home we thought we would address it so it would show well in the mean time. We do have to clean our brushes and machines after use and they had never specified that they did not want that done in the yard at the time of work being performed. We always clean up the area also after we clean our brushes and items as to leave as little debris as possible upon completion. When we saw they were upset by that we tried to offer a solution until it grew back. Also, all of the paint we use is acrylic and latex based. When they say everything was "ruined" it would have cleaned up if it was brought to our attention at the walkthrough. We have different cleaning techniques if paint gets anywhere which will fix and clean paint drips. We always try to avoid it, but when you paint an entire interior and entire exterior sometimes it could happen. It is part of our job to go through and clean any areas with paint if it was brought to our attention. Like they had said they never brought any of these items to our attention and just didn't want to deal with it at the completion, then 9 months later hit us with a surprise review after never contacting us or addressing this issues at the walkthrough. We appreciate the opportunity to do work for them. We do upwards of 1200 houses a year and have been in business for 25 years. We always pride ourselves on doing the best job we can. The owner Brian acted in irresponsible deceptive ways and easily told a couple of very believable lies involving the quality of his painters' work and also a lie about the reason he never returned my calls. He only returned my calls after I threatened to make complaints to BBB and Home Advisor. The work needed to be completely redone. The first and second painter both displayed irresponsible behaviors while on the job adding to my already high stress level. Due to the entire experience I definitely believe the contract was breached.
