I had the Paver Doctor re-do my front Patio in May 2019. I was very pleased with the design, pricing, and result initially. I had them install a Natural Stone product, and it looked great. They sealed and finished the work just before Memorial Day 2019. However, about 1-2 months later, I noticed white discoloration forming all over the stone. Later in the Summer, they came out to look at it and recommended simply re-activating the original sealer. This temporarily addressed the issue, but then throughout the Fall, Winter, and early Spring, it got progressively worse...to the point I became embarrassed by the front entrance to my house. This company, for months, refused to address the issue and strip the sealer away. I was finally able to get them to my house to strip the sealer away in early June of this Summer. However, they did not get all of it stripped away correctly, and also failed to cover perennial plants nearby my patio which has died due to the chemical. What is worse, they have cut-off communication with me and refuse to return any requests to come to finish the repair (which was supposed to include properly stripping the old sealer and applying a new sealer). I have had a few contractors and a distributor of sealer come to my house to look at it, and all of them have said that the issues arose because the wrong type of sealer was used on the Natural Stone product. They have also estimated costs of repair at $2,000. At this point, I am paying another contractor to come in and clean up the remaining mess, and then properly seal the stone. I have spent countless hours trying to remedy this, and am beyond frustrated by the inability/unwillingness to communicate and take accountability for their error of this company. I just wanted other potential consumers to be aware of the experience I have had.

We hired the Paver Doctor to repair, clean, and seal our brick paver patio. We were extremely dissatisfied with the job they did and their customer service. I was initially skeptical that the patio could be re-leveled to ensure proper drainage, but they were adamant that it would not be a problem. However, all they ended up doing was raising the problem area (approximately 4 ft x 6ft) and shifting the area where we were getting standing water over about 5 feet, which was exactly what I questioned them on initially. When I had Andy (the company owner) come back out to see the new problem, he proposed raising the new area for an additional fee and some other landscaping to aid in water drainage. Though we were frustrated that the job wasn’t done right the first time, we felt we should go forward since we had already paid more than $2,000 for the first repair and seal job and now still had a water problem. Andy gave us a verbal estimate for an additional $1500 and said he’d send a paper copy. After 10 days we hadn’t received the estimate and called the company. The office manager said she was sure he would send it “any day.” After another week we called again and left a message asking for the estimate, and never got a call back. We tried two more times to call, both unreturned. All said and done, we spent over $2,000 and have just as much water on the patio as when we started. Additionally, they screwed up the sealer application and left a film (effervescence) over about 1/3rd of the patio. We strongly advise against using this company for any brick work; their work was substandard and they are unresponsive once problems occur.

I was very impressed with this company. What I LOVED about them is that they never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. I gave Andy (the owner) every opportunity to sell me more, but he was so honest that he actually talked me out of some ideas that I had that would have been more profit for him. I mentioned a fire pit and a brick grill enclosure and he gave me the pros and cons for these without trying to talk me into spending more. I was quote a brick patio that involved a demo of an existing concrete walkway and tree removal. I requested if it were possible to take the dirt removed and place it in my yard where there was erosion due to a creek and well at take the broken up concrete walkway and use it to retain the dirt and they did this free of charge. It came out great and I was very pleased. The crew was friendly,very hard working, they showed up on time and finished the job when they said they would. I even added a step down from the patio after realizing the height of the patio that wasn't part of the original quote and they were able to do it without any issues. It has been one year since this was installed and there are no problems to report. It is solid and holding up well. I liked their work so much that I called again this Spring to quote a new asphalt driveway. The quote was very reasonably priced compared to the other quotes I received and I even added a brick walkway around the garage as well. In the other two quotes I received from other companies, they were trying to sell me a drainage system that was going to be over a $1000. Andy provided me with a drain option that was way more economical for my budget. Moreover, I gave Andy an opportunity to sell me more showing him a wood timber retaining wall that I disliked in my backyard and asked him to quote me how much it would be if I did it all brick to match the patio. Instead of seeing an opportunity to sell me more, he told me that it was still in good shape because of the location and it would probably last at least ten more years in its current condition. He provided me with an option of just putting some bushes in front of them if I do not like the look of them, which is something I never considered. They will be coming by to do the walkway soon, but will be waiting until mid May to do the driveway because of the weather and optimal temperature needed for a quality job. Some of these other companies said they could do it now probably knowing that it would not be the best job because of the weather. Honesty is what I really appreciate about this company. If only I can find a mechanic, plumber, electrician and carpenter with the same integrity. I HIGHLY recommend this company for your brick work. I will follow up with the driveway once its install. They were very efficient in communication. I called them and left a message. They came out and then mailed a written proposal and a long list of references. All I had to do was sign the proposal and mail it back. I called with some questions that they quickly answered. It took awhile for me to decide - they don't call to follow up or hassle which is nice. The work was scheduled within 2 or 3 weeks of acceptance. They ended up doing more repair of my brick walkway than what they originally anticipated. They did what they had to do to make it right, and the price stayed the same.

They were awarded the contract for a new driveway at my home. I was satisfied with the work completed so I signed a contract with them to do some work on a parking lot at a commercial facility. They came out and started and never showed up again. After several unreturned phone calls I gave up on trying to get a hold of them. About a month ago my driveway that was completed by them started to sink causing a large crack down the center. I was finally able to get a hold of them to come out and look at it. They claimed it wasn't covered under warranty because of our climate but were willing to patch it. A patch job on a 6 month old driveway!!!

They did a great job, paid attention to details, made sure everything looked right with no dips or lines or seams and they cleaned up throughly, even cleaned up the street as well, I don't think you can find a better crew or a better deal with any one else. They were very polite and cuttious, even the village inspector said they did a great job that made the neighborhood look better.

Job was done with great perfection! The price was excellent. Very Professional.

Professional, quick and courteous.

The contractor was very responsive; however, it is difficult to rate the quality of work simply because it will take months before flaws appear. I have heard from many home owners that the job always looks great just after completion; the true test is endurance. It may be wise to ask your customer's opionions after a year's time at least from a QA perspective. Service as it relates to responsiveness can be done directly after the job is completed.

It was very easy to work with Paver Doctor. I had a small job - to asphalt a small dug out area on the driveway that occurred due to a dig out resutling from a sewage line repair. Paver Doctor were very professional , their quotes was reasonable. They finished the job as promised and did a fantastic job.
