"We find it unfortunate that after multiple detailed email responses, explanations of the service performed, offering you multiple times for a phone call appointment to which you did not respond to until a month later, and even offering assistance toward the bill as a courtesy, the decision was made to leave a misleading public review instead. The reality is this call took place during the most severe winter storm of the season, conditions with limited road access, multiple power interruptions, freezing temperatures, and a faucet that was barely dripping in one area of the home. Under those circumstances, concern for a potential freeze was absolutely reasonable and any responsible plumbing company would have treated it seriously to help prevent catastrophic damage to the property. Our technician did far more than simply ?push a button.? He accessed a heavily snow-covered property, had to make space for his truck to get off the road in the snow, located a buried hidden key under 2 feet of snow (which was extremely hard to find), trenched through the snow to get access into the home, restored heat, monitored the system to ensure it was operating properly, confirmed zones were responding, and prepared for winterization based on the original request and ongoing storm concerns. Went to the supply house to based on your original request to winterize with anti-freeze. Winterization was recommended strictly as a preventative measure due to repeated power outages and dangerous weather conditions across the cape and this being an unused second home? not because damage had necessarily already occurred. As already explained privately several times, isolated freezing within plumbing systems is extremely common, even when other fixtures remain functional. Given the conditions present during the visit, the diagnostic process and recommendations made were entirely reasonable and in good faith. While it is easy in hindsight to focus on the faucet aerator once weather conditions stabilized weeks later, diagnosing a potentially frozen home during an active winter storm is very different than removing a screen from a faucet after the fact. We have already dedicated significant time addressing these concerns directly and had offered assistance toward the invoice as a courtesy despite the circumstances. Due to the continued misrepresentation of the situation publicly after those efforts, we will not be providing any further adjustments and now consider this matter closed. We wish you the best moving forward as we will no longer be able to assist you."
