"This job was at a business condo office which had a leak in a supply line to a water heater, we showed up on time to assess the problem, we have an authorization form which explains in clear language what our charges are and that anything related to the customers job is billed for including running for parts and that we are COD meaning we are paid for our services at competition of the job, that authorization was signed by Carlos. Carlos started to complain about things right away when we were there only to help him. The main water shut off was old and did not work, it would not shut down the water to the unit. we discussed a few different ways to fix the leak, we decided on having the water shut off by the water company. The space to work was very small and the water heater had to be removed to put in new shut off valve and move the regulator. We did need a few parts and under normal situations we would charge to get the parts at it clearly states in our authorization form signed before any work is done,but we did not charge for that time. All repairs went perfectly and completion was done correctly. when our technician was done and presented the invoice Carlos drove off and did not pay the invoice. After talking to him later he complained about everything and asked for a discount which we agreed to, we cut the bill down many hundreds of dollars to try to make him happy. He still made excuses on paying the invoice and then gave us a low rating on Homeadvisor. We did a great job and made any adjustments to the bill that was asked of us. We are a great, caring company and dont deserve the lie that we charged for getting the parts Some people you just can not make happy."
