These people are the BEST I have worked with. They came out EARLY to repair some water leaks under my mobile home. While they were under the house, they found a sewer repair that was done by another company that was done completely wrong and leaking sewage under my house. These two guys didn't hesitate to fix that too while they were under there. They also told me what was done wrong so I could get it fixed. When the other company pushed back saying "there was no warranty before or after the repair" The Plumbing Joint's plumbers and office staff looked at the pics and listened to what happened and gave me the information I need to go the next step to get this cleaned up and fixed the right way. I can't say enough about the customer service, professionalism and true concern they have displayed. As the other company is no longer allowed on my property these will be my plumbers of choice for ANYTHING that comes up.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Very expensive! Incorrectly overcharging me for time labor was not being performed and refusing to correct the situation. This company told me they would charge $189 minimum for the first half hour of service and then $65 per quarter hour after that. At one point, the technician could not continue the service because he was missing a part. He told me he paused the half hour it took for him to contact the manager and come up with a solution. The onsite time was 12:45pm-3:00pm. The pause time was 1:45-2:15. Service was done at 2:45pm and the technician took 15 minutes to write the invoice which he had me sign at 3:00pm. He told me he was charging me until 3:00pm but was not charging me for the half hour pause. I later recognized on the invoice that they did indeed charge me for the pause time. I talked with the company 4 separate times over the next two days, and they refused to refund me for the overcharge. Additional complaints: Amount of time spent looking for parts, which were never found. The 300% markup per item I had to pay on the additional quantity of products that were used on the project because the technician did not have the part he originally intended to use. The 15min it took the technician to write the invoice, which I was charged for. The fact that the company did not allow me to send a picture of the project, so that they could be certain what tools/equipment they needed.

$700 to replace a hot water recirculating pump, not including the pump which I purchased separately, with 2 hrs work involved is excessive. I felt that I was taken advantage of.

Joe Z. was very efficient. My shower was stripped to the studs. His project was to install a new shower valve and raise the shower head. He answered every question I asked and showed me the built in shut offs in the valve assembly. Once completed, he tested the shower. I was very satisfied.

The only reason I gave 4.5 for customer service is because I didn't get a call back after I responded back to a msg left for me from TPJ. Called the main number day or two later and Jennifer was great to work with. Asked her a cpl questions, one of which she admitted not knowing the answer to (kudos for that, instead of "shooting from the hip" , giving inaccurate info), she found the answer and got back to me. Joe and Gavin did the removal and installation of the toilet----showed up on time, after call verifying when they'd arrive---were fast, efficient and professional. Would definitely use TJP again for future plumbing needs and highly recommend them, based on my experience.

Make sure you understand their pricing. Tell them you won't pay extra for a helper.

"Hello Robert, We only charge for the second guy if he works. We were onsite at your place for 1.5 hours and only charged for the second guy for 30 minutes as that's the only time he worked. Had he of now worked, the first guy would've had to work 30 minutes more at a higher rate. We actually saved you money by having the second guy do some of the tasks involved. "Our rates are clearly stated prior to every job. We even recommended to this customer that we give a proposal PRIOR to starting the job due to the size of the project but she wanted us to start NOW and didn't care what it cost. After doing approximately 2k worth of work she decided to go a different route and paid her bill. Now a bad review? As far as equipment rental goes, we own all of our equipment but on a time and material job we do charge a small fee for wear and tear on some equipment such as jackhammers to cover the costs of maintaining them to make sure they are in top condition for every job."

Mike the plumber was great. He did a good job. I was shocked by the bill. though. He spent less than 15 minutes clearing a clogged toilet with an auger. Charged almost $160, and that was after a senior discount. I guess I'm really out of it when it comes to the cost of plumbers nowadays. There was an extra charge for the use of the auger.

Joe the technician came out, explained the job and did a fantastic job. He fixed the problem, cleaned up afterward and did it at a fair price. I was quoted over 2 thousand dollars by another company. Joe did it in under 2 hours at 1/4 the price the other plumbing company quoted me. Thanks Joe !!

"Without knowing which customer this is I cannot give an explanation for opening a ceiling. However, we often times have to open sheet rock to see what is leaking and we never do it without letting the home owner know that we are and explaining why we are. Had a leak under kitchen sink where refrigerator line hooks into cold water valve. After repairing leak under sink and replaced sink drain covers, Mike fixed leak behind refrigerator. Our old house was very stubborn at times, but Mike came through and won the battle. They was very professional and I would recommend The Plumbing Joint to family and friends.

All the staff members were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the results! I plan on using the Plumbing Joint for all of my future plumbing needs. Also, after the pipes were fixed (replaced galvanized steel with pex) the water pressure was too high. This required additional work and equipment outside of the original estimate to bring the pressure back down. The crew did this work without charging me extra. Overall, I'd say they were phenomenal!
