Consider for a moment that it isn't just his initial training, but an on going variety of continuing study, and the expense of maintaining the business. As a patient you pay for his knowledge and skill plus a share of his business expense, even if he spends only a few minutes with you. This analogy holds true in any service business. The charge for providing service in your home cannot be determined solely by the time it takes the technicians to make the repairs. Included in that price was all new parts, which you agreed to the flat rate price of before I started any work. Flat rate means that is the bottom line price, no matter how long it takes. We call that up front pricing, so you know how much for parts and labor total. Thank you for your comments"

This was the third trip to your house with two previous no shows on your part, you were quoted the up front price and you agreed in writing before the work began, we did more work than you are stating at no extra charge, and you signed the invoice when the work was completed that you were satisfied, and not to mention your invoice total was way less than $500 including the sales tax.
