The Pool Step Pros

This company was referred by a pool installer. I was, at first, impressed with their timeliness and the quality of the work, but I would not hire them again or recommend them to anyone. I hired this company to repair our pool stairs. I was quoted a price and told an amount was due up front. I agreed, we scheduled, and I paid. By the time the job was finished, we had talked about them painting my coping. I paid the original invoice a few hours after it was emailed to me. I received a quote for the coping and we again agreed on the price and time. They came out and worked on my coping and I was told it had to sit a few days before they could finish. I agreed to that as it was not the first time I have had this time of work done on the pool. I guess the invoice came an hour or so later, but I was not where I could check email. However, the owner sent me two texts that day and one the next morning. I responded that I would take care of it when I was back at the office (I too have my own business to run) as I was out in the field all day. I received two more texts, one asking when my replacement liner was to be installed, and the second letting me know when they were coming back out to finish the coping. I responded, I then get another text (6:38 pm on 03/15) stating that once I paid the invoice they would get me on schedule. I had already paid the invoice around 6:20 pm on 03/15. Guess what? I have yet to hear back from them after several attempts to contact them. My business puts me in a position where homeowners are always asking for referrals. This company is not getting one.
