The Pros Carpet & Floors

The owner Fidel is not competent to complete an entire job. He definitely has a cash flow in his business as he is always requesting money at the end of the week to pay his guys instead of simply completing the entire job in order to get paid. He clearly hires day laborers to do different tasks which encompass drug addicts and unskilled laborers leaving the job unprofessional and tacky. I hired him to do some painting at a couple of properties. Some of the work was good and others were horrible depending on which day the laborer he brought to the job site. He never completes the work. His price is dirt cheap but it is not worth the headache. He starts off strong and will leave you hanging with unanswered phone calls. I would rather pay a little more money to get a professional service! Fidel is not accountable and should not be hired.

We got into the following problems with Mr. Fidel: 1. He completed a job. I paid him using the check. He told me that the bank rejected the check. So, he called me and asked me to pay him using a credit card. I paid him using a credit card. The check got cleared and money is deducted from my bank account. I called Mr. Fidel about this and he said, he will refund the money. He did not refund. I have been waiting for almost a month. 2. I bought LVP for 8,000 sq ft from him, paid using a credit card. He delivered less than 40% of it and said, the rest is taking a little longer. For the past one month, he says, he is processing the refund, but he did not. The total amount he owes us is $4,585.34. This company is a fraudulent company and beware of it before you conduct any business with it.

Professional guys

The people were polite, friendly, punctual , an professional. They were able to get the job done quickly with virtually no wait time which was very helpful to me. Overall I believe I had a challenging project as I live in a old farm house an the floors are not level. There are a couple areas which I’m not completely satisfied with. That being said I would recommend them an use them again myself.

I was excited to get new LVP floors in my living room, kitchen, and bathrooms and decided to go with Fidel at the Pros Carpet & Floors. When comparing his costs to Lowes it seemed like it was a slam dunk as he was significantly less expensive and he seemed very knowledgeable about flooring installs. Fidel estimated it would be a one day job completed on Saturday. However, when the work was finally done, it was Monday night, so the job actually took 3 days. The team was friendly enough but the quality of work was not what you would hope for when making this type of investment in your home. The final flooring product shows dozens of gaps between planks where other planks fit together perfectly. In my kitchen, I can constantly feel the gaps under my feet as I move around. Another issue I am having is water damage on my first floor ceiling that is directly below the toilet in the bathroom on my second floor. I believe this is due to the toilet being reinstalled incorrectly after the floor was laid in that bathroom as the leak showed up immediately after the installation was completed. I reached out to Fidel on 3/18/21 with the issues and he said he would have someone come over and look at the issues. I didn't hear anything so i shot him another text on 3/29/21 asking for an update and have not received a response. I shot one final text on 4/5/21 and still have not received a response. I think it is clear at this point this company does not plan on standing behind its finished product and I will just need to go out of pocket to get the issues fixed. If I could do it all over again, I would have gone with the more expensive big box store given at least I would have some recourse with issues that popped up. It looks like others have had decent experiences with their flooring install. However, i am disappointed with my project and cannot recommend this company.

They started off very good but now I cannot reach him. I can call him from another number and he will pick up. he is ignoring my calls.

Very hard workers. Job completed in one day...went above and beyond my expectations for doing a great job of installing LVP. Friendly and efficient team. Floors look fantastic! I will be hiring to do another job of flooring installs in a few weeks in my bedrooms and master bath. Highly recommend!

Had luxury vinyl plank installed throughout the house. Fidel and his crew were easy to work with and did a great job on the install. One major advantage they offer is a 2 year warranty on their work, so even if you notice something after they're done, they'll come back and make it right. They arrived on time, were polite, and cleaned up before they left. Highly recommended

Very professional. Contact person was excellent and timely about relaying information. Crew showed up on time and finished the job in 2 days - it was removing old flooring and laying a new floor in an entire house. The guys worked quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend this company.
