"I came an hour late because my car battery was dead that cold morning and I called to let her know. She said that'll work out great, didn't seem upset at all She gave me no idea that she was displeased, and I did try to correct the sanding mistake. the very next day. I wasn't supposed to sand, to begin with, just texture. She seemed very pleased with the texture job. I did a small sample first and she said great! It took maybe an hour to sand one wall and retexture The house was a split level and I had to set up on the driveway so it was a lot of trips up to the front door and then to the upper level and down to the lower level to cut and install trim for someone my age. She had no objections to the quality of the work. I asked to get paid for being 6 hour day and asked to come back on Monday but she was in an incredible rush, not because it was up for sale but because she didn't feel like driving back to do anything else EVER again- even though where she lived was only 15 miles away so she expected me to work continuously until it was done, midnight or not no matter how long--so after I finished the upstairs trim. she finally agreed that I had done enough for that day and gave me a check for $300- Again I had asked for 6 hours. I left thinking she was happy. Apparently, she was very upset that I didn't stay and work until the basement trim was done. I did quite a bit of trim work that day, a good 5 hours up and down those stairs. Couldn't work Saturday because I already had a job scheduled -why I couldn't come back on Monday is beyond me- she didn't 't even have to be there and the house wasn't going up for sale until then anyway. It was just a huge rush rush rush for very little reason."
"Went over and found I couldn't remove faucet from sink without taking entire sink out including garbage disposer. Landlord did not want to,pay for it,, said he would do it himself. Fixed lazy Susan cabinet and cut one sink cabinet door because it didn't fit right. problem was solved. Landlord was extremely upset because I didn't ask permission first.Never did get paid for the work that I did do Said I was busy the next 3 -4 weeks after he asked me to do some trim work for him -- even though he was mad at me-- because I didn't want to deal with him anymore, he seemed impossible to get along with, simple as that, and I guess his review is proof of that"
