I was very impressed with Donald. He replaced the valve on my dishwasher quickly, checked to make sure that it was working and explained to me what he had done. He was extremely courteous and professional. I look forward to working with him in the future.

$100 trip charge. They did not solve my dishwasher problem. Told me they would research and get back to me. Never got back to me. It cost me $100 plus $9 tax for them to lose me as a customer.

Very good communication via phone and text, although every time you call you have to wait through a lengthy voice message before getting to a service rep (the message is creative and cute the first time but gets old after a few calls). Work was coordinated well with the technician and they sent pictures of the completed work on my rental property (I'm not local so it's important for me to see what is done). They're a little more expensive than some others but you pay for professionalism and peace of mind. If you want it done and done right, they're worth it.

They came out same day I called. Were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, they couldn't fix the problem that day and it took them a few days to come back. They did fix it at that time.

As a General Contractor, I have an entire line of crews and subcontractors for every line of work you could imagine. However, when one of my top clients with hundreds of thousands of dollars in wine called to tell me their cellar refrigeration unit had suddenly quit, I couldn't find anyone with the expertise to fix this particular unit. With no other options, I contacted Home Advisor as an absolute last resort, and they paired me up with The Repair Shack. This company came out the next day when everyone else I contacted on my own was over a week out. They were very professional and timely, and my clients were extremely pleased with the work that was done. I will without a doubt be adding The Repair Shack to my list of top-quality subcontractors.
