In reference to this Keenan review. I am appalled at the lying from the owner of this company. The technician arrived the first day and competed 6-7 of the requested fixes I believe it was A-R on the â work orderâ with a few tasks being lumped together on the same line.. The technician left the first day without collecting payment from myself or requesting money. The second day the tech returned 4+ hours late and still did not have all the tools and equipment required to finish the jobs. Your technician completed 3 tasks the next day which he stayed until 8pm to do after multiple more trips to hardware store as well as myself needing to go find plumbing fixtures parts. The biggest thing we wanted completed the vanity was not completed. Your tech OFFERED to come back on a day off to complete the work for â gas moneyâ as the list was not completed. Look at the returned work order and you will see check marks for completed and n/a or blank for the ones that were not yet done due to him stating he would return to finish and we were still charged full price. Furthermore I would love to be able to attach the text messages as proof of this and now your harassment of my wife several days later. You and your threats to expose her are uncalled for frankly none of your technicians business to run back and report to you. You should investigate the whole story about your tech and his promises to come back on his own accord as we did not solicit this from him. Sadly those were made verbally in my kitchen but Iâ d be happy to supply you messages of him trying to reschedule several times due to you â booking his day off he was going to come to usâ I believe on a Thursday and then requested to have at least one day off and would come back. Your company was indeed PAID IN FULL on the second fey $1,200 CASH. If anything I believe we are owed change if I remember him stating correctly $10 and also if he would return my garden hose he took that would be great as well.

Drywall - Repair
The owner is a scam artist please do not do business with The REPAIRMAN LLC company. When they get in your home to do work the tech Tim leaves the job site for hours reason may be like he has been working in your home billing you for work he has never done and what work he does is horrible stay away from them.

"It is sad that Keenan has not only tried to mislead HomeAdvisor/Angi but also those reading this review. If you look at the 66 total "Ratings & Reviews" you will notice that 59 "Ratings & Reviews" are either 4 or 5 STARS! In otherwards almost 90% of the "Ratings & Reviews" are high or very high. Furthermore The Repairman business is the "Top Rated Handyman Repair Service in all of West Michigan" with over 1,700 regular customers and thousands more - many became satisfied customers via HomeAdvisor! I wish we could have kept Keenan as a customer but what transpired was after paying for the first day of work my Tech returned to perform the second day and when my Tech went to bill Keenan out for the day Keenan refused to pay BUT gave my Tech a $40 tip telling him that he liked his workmanship and would give him another $60 tip if he would come back to wrap up on Saturday. The Tech and my interpretation was that Keenan was trying to get my Tech to perform the work on the side without paying The Repairman thus causing the Tech to potentially jeopardize his job. ): When my Tech told me, the owner, I contacted Keenan to collect for the second day and he refused. I then conveyed to Keenan that we would therefore not be able to return until the second day was paid for. That's when Keenan gave us this Rating and wrote this Review. We are willing to return once we are paid for what is owed."

Very poor got paid project never finished unprofessional.. workers not experienced for jobs not completed ..: he does not have quality worker the one I had was not experienced for the job late and left early the job finished in two days.. now I have to hire someone else after paying him $945 they need to check his record he has a pattern of this i looked him up after the problem with him .. wish i had looked sooner... beware check his records he writes rebuttal to each one to clear up his name at end of every complaint against him he try to explain beneath your claim of his wrong doing BEWARE read and look him up go under lastest complaint there or several ones to choose from and I found numerous ones just like mine coincidence... Hes not a professional person to work with if you want tour job done and he trys to get more money out if you dont want to pay same day with job not completed saying they get paid by the day then they can add on more hours to complete your job .... when he talked to me said dont pay til job finished... not true with him they have a plan to work you out of more money to complete your job ... use at your own discretion...thx

I absolutely love using â The Repairmanâ . We call Steve anytime we need home projects done and he sends out the best guy for the specific job. We have had so many different projects done by them and I recommend them to people all the time. Highly Recommend!

Gas, Pellet, or Wood Stove - Repair
We had already had the Consumer's Energy repairman in to fix our Gas Log fireplace without satisfactory success. Four visits and two or three new parts and it was still not working correctly. We decided to give HomeAdvisor a try and that's when Steve called from The Repairman! Tim came in and got right to work. Within 90 minutes, we had a working fireplace again! Next time, we'll call The Repairman first. We could not be happier!

Plaster Repair
The drywall-er did a great job. Had to drop ceiling because of raccoon damage and replace drywall ceiling with walls in place. You cant tell that the ceiling was even remove.

I have nothing but great things to say about the repairman. Dennis walked me through everything over the phone then was able to pull up my roof on google maps so we could discuss in further detail where the leak was happening. The tech, Tim, came out the next day and was very friendly and helpful. He did a complete roof inspection and had the job completed in about 3 hours. I have not had an issue since!

my wood deck & siding were in bad shape. Alan & charlie came out & did wonderful job repairing both. appointments were made & kept which was not my experience w/ previous contractor who never showed up or called for 3 different appointments. very happy w/ service & will use them again. 05/08/19 Hire a Handyman: Always there when the say they will be there. Always able to get a hold of Steve the owner w/ questions. Have had Tim here several times & he does very good work. Will use again for next project.

The technician did a wonderful job for me in replacing my garbage disposal. The technician arrived on time, had a courteous greeting, and went to work assessing the project. He explained any modifications and when the project was completed he had me test it. He made sure everything was neat and made me aware of other services your company provides. He left me a magnetic business card for my convenience to contact you in the future. I will definitely recommend your services to others.
