Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
The people were very nice and honest I believe. However, I think they have a way to go before being considered "pro". Their time spent here was very fragmented and did not recognize or decide that they would not be able to complete a major task (most important for me)to satisfaction until it was time to do it. Not sure if anyone else could or not, but the alternative was majorly less time consuming and really disappointing. I was given an estimate, and I understand that an estimate is just that and not exact, but when time to settle up it was 3 times more than the estimated cost! I did add replacing 1 door knob that wasn't previously discussed and took,maybe 10 minutes at most. Only when presented the invoice was I told that they charge $75 per hour, the total amount was quite a shock to me and my budget, as it jumped from $300 to $900 with us furnishing materials. I believe they seriously need more experience with estimating cost, their ability to do or not do a task and time management.
