Dave Sdrougias (Persons) is the most incompetent and dishonest person in the pool business. He installed a liner in my inground pool and did such a bad job it has already torn away from the bottom drain. He shows up in his nice car with no equipment at all and even borrowed some of my tools to do the job and leaves the old liner in a complete mess all over my back hard. He said he would order a replacement liner and even admitted he would doctor up one of the seams on the one he screwed up so he could file a warranty claim with Merlin. He also said I would have to pay him $1800 to install the new liner and that it was "in the contract". There is no contract! I drained the pool myself and patched the tear and will be happy if I get even one season out of this liner. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY - HE IS A CROOK AND SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Totally fixed a poor job from another company, doing so in a short timeline and with great communication. Highly recommend for pool repairs & installations!

Do not believe that they are capable pool people that they send, they are unexperienced workers, they will not communicate even after they said that were going to be back, the service was poor.

I posted an inquiry on Angie's list for myself and my sister for above ground liner replacement. David reached out to me. He came and measured the pools and we each paid him 1023.60 deposit in March 15. 2023. Every liner we picked was on BO we had to settle for what he could get. I requested overlap for both pools. After several cancellations for the install with several excuses, He finally showed on 5/19/23. He called me and told me he could not use the over lap liner because we have a metal deck. Which he saw when he measured the pool. He just happened to have a Uni Bead in his car, So I had no choice I had to go with that. He assured me it would be fine. He installed and started to fill the pool. He had no tools but a wrench. No contractor bags for the old liner. We emptied out our own pools which was all part of what we paid for. I paid him the balance of 690.00 and he was on his way. By 8:00 PM the liner fell and the walls buckled. I called him on his cell left 2 messages, He texted back asked for pictures. I sent them said he would call us tomorrow. Saturday went by Sunday went by nothing. I texted him on Monday told him I want the liner I paid for and the work redone. He said I authorized the change there was nothing he could do. I told him the law was on my side. Then the threats came. He was getting a lawyer. He could not communicate with me and I would pay all his legal fees. My sister paid and he did nothing to her pool. He left her liner at my house. and to my surprise it was a 24 round 48 Uni Bead liner. Just like the liner he put on my pool. which means he never had the overlap liners we had requested. Beware his company has 2 names the one above has a lot of complaints. He also goes under two names personally. There should be legal action taken against this scam artist.

At first Dave was reliable and seemed trustworthy. But ultimately he left the project undone, owing us money and our warranties,and stopped answering our respectful calls and texts. Throughout the project he kept finding expensive new issues (which we paid to fix), but still couldnâ t get the pool to work. He suggested we get a second opinion to reassure us, and we did. The second company found the problem with the new pump Dave had just installed. They got the system to run, but it was a temporarily fix that needed work to fix it long term. With the pump on we could also see that the brand new filter Dave installed was leaking sand into the pool. Dave assured me he would fix the system and get it running properlyâ and then never returned any of my calls or texts again. I canâ t recommend someone who takes money and then walks out on the job. He had seemed great at first, but donâ t trust that. I was nothing but respectful in how I communicated with Dave and deserved the same in return. .

David came to the house and looked at our pool and gave me his estimate to replace the liner, we agreed on the price and I gave him a deposit. When he came to do the job, he said he had to leave after two hours because he had to go to do another job. He also said he would come back the next day to finish it. I foolishly trusting him gave him the remaining amount of the payment due. My bad, that was a mistake, lesson learned! The only way he was going to come back was if I paid 150 extra dollars for him to do that. Needless to say, this was the worst experience in the 20 years of having contractors come to the house that I ever had. In the end, I decided I would rather finish the job my self or pay someone else rather than play his game.

He is dishonest, incompetent, and not trustworthy, Angi should remove them from the list, and should not recommend him to anyone.

There are multiple issues I faced working with this company and owner. 1.stretch my job for no reason. 2. Did not complete the work. 3. So much arrogance and attitude. 4. Trying to charge more money than what agreed upon. 5. Did not pick up the old cover, just left aside. Never ever hire this company/ David for any pool related job. I have really had bad experience with him.

We decided to hire this company to open our pool this year and it went super smoothy. We have a large pool and are very particular about the process, David and Mike listened to our concerns and even gave us a quote for some future work we'll need to get done.

I did not like the end result because he only opened the pool but did not clean inside the pool.

The Company did a new in-ground pool liner for us and we were so happy to find them because they were very helpful.

I had a pump and filter replacement done along with a new liner. David, was a very personable guy and gave me the best quote out of the five quotes I got. Not only did everything work excellent, my pool was up and running the next day. If you want your pool services done properly and cost effectively I’d define recommend this company.

Fast, knowledgeable and good price for a liner replacement

I got the best price from this company for a repair to tiles that has come broken from previous home owners. The job was extremely well-executed, they found a closely matching tile and the worker that did the detailed work was GREAT! Friendly, knowledgeable and fairly quick. We did have to wait a decent time from the date of hiring to the job completion, but this was clearly stated by the owner. For the best price and detailed work, itâ s worth being patient

David charged me $250 for a skimmer and $250 to remove a cover that literally took no more than two hours to complete. Provided me no cleaning and no chemicals for the opening of the pool. When opening a pool should result in ready-to-swim unless there are serious issues found. Once I asked when these things would be taken care of he stated that I would have to pay extra. When I provided him my opinion and research that these things are usually a packaged price for pool opening, He snapped at me and told me that he had no time for this and was too busy dealing with $30,000 pool renovations when I was almost even willing to pay him extra for those services. My mistake was not getting this in writing and lost $500 for easy work.

David installed a pool liner on April 8th. We mentioned we had a well and will fill it until the water truck comes to deliver the water, as we have done in the past. After only 4 inches of water was filled with the well, part of the liner got detached. Called him immediately and did not want to come out until Monday to fix it. We stressed that the water truck was coming Saturday and he reluctantly came. He even admitted that we needed boiling water to stretch the liner and said he should have waited to install it when it was warmer. But still never mentioned that filling the pool could be a problem. The water truck came to fill and as it was filling 2/3 of the liner came detached from the track and over 3,000 gallons of water poured into our yard. When we called him he said the hose was too powerful, then the next excuse was it must be bad tracking, and then the third excuse was it was too cold to fill. Never did he tell us that in writing or verbally that we could not fill. We have it in writing and told him verbally that we were getting it filled by a truck. He offered to replace the tracking for an additional $1500 which would have never broken if he did not install the liner when it was too cold and should have advised us that adding water would cause stress on the liner and break the tracks. We would have waited for the installation as it is April and there was no rush to get the pool open. I do not feel he is competent enough to install a liner in a pool let alone track on it. I have been in contact with two other pool companies that said liners should not be installed if it is below 70 degrees and could cause this complication. I requested David to pay for the installation, water delivery, and salt that was wasted when it collapsed. As far as we know the liner is fine, but waiting on tracking prices . There was no indication that there was a problem with the tracking until the liner was installed. We heard a large snap that indicated a lot of pressure on the track or liner.

The process was a breeze, from measuring to selecting the liner to David and his helper installing it. He gave us a good price and although there were some shipping delays, he got the job done in half the time a large company was quoting us.
