Kyle with Water Heater Specialists did amazing work for me. He got us a new USA made 50 gallon Bradford White gas water heater for my secondary property for half the cost of competing bids compared to other local plumbers. He got the appropriate permits and installed quickly on the scheduled day. His price is very reasonable and was the most reasonable of anyone that we contacted. He did a great job on the installation and he has a good warranty. Then, later on, at my main property, I had a new AO Smith water heater that my home warranty installed under warranty that had an issue with shorter length of available hot water. When I first got my Ao smith 30 gallon gas water heater at my main property, I had 30 minutes of hot water in lowest heat setting, but eventually lately i had it on highest heat setting and got only 15 minutes of hot water, so i knew there was an issue . I contacted AO smith warranty, and they sent their plumber to check, but ao smith’s plumber said nothing was wrong with the water heater and that plumber with AO smith wanted to charge me an additional cost to “search for possible issue”. I decided to call Kyle to get a second d opinion as Kyle said he is a warranty provider for AO Smith as well and after going back and forth with AO Smith they said I could use another provider for a second opinion. Kyle checked my AO smith water heater and determined the thermostat may have an issue, but it’s connected to gas control valve and he said replacing the gas control valve and thermostat should resolve the issue. After ordering the part through ao smith, he came out and replaced it and now my water heater is back to normal, and I now get 35 minutes of consistent hot water on lowest heat setting and he fixed the issue and it’s working better after he worked on it. Kyle is definitely reliable and honest, and he definitely knows water heaters. I definitely recommend giving him a call for your water heater needs.

Troy is staying in Utah for just a few months today being Jan 11, 2022. He is on vacation, On the phone, he quoted me a price to cut off the edge of my countertop and also attach my downspout to my house of $75, and charged me $200 plus had me pay rental for his tools on top of that. That is just not good business where he advertises. He was a construction company he is supposed to have his own tools to prove he is a successful company. He knew the tools he needed for the job when I already explained what needed to be done before he came out. No handyman ever charges a client for renting tools he should already own. That is just not heard of.

Troy was very polite, cleaned up after himself as he worked, and was very attentive to my instructions.

Kyle was extremely polite, courteous and efficient. He went out of his way to ensure I would be pleased with his work. I will have them back for other projects. I highly recommend EKG.
