"I am sorry about your unpleasant experience. We signed several customers in April who ended up with an extended timeline due to unforeseen circumstances. The unforeseen circumstance caused many of our customers to be in the dark on when their projects were to be completed as well as extending the work out longer. Those issues were taken care of and are no longer a problem. Steven went out of his way to help us with your project. Steven is an amazing craftsman with hardscapes and has an amazing reference list. You had issues with the pattern chosen for the patio which you decided random would be better- we are here for the customer. Upon getting half-way through the job you decided you did not like the random pattern (which was not the original outline of the patio- that pattern was something YOU chose). Since you did not like the random pattern the pavers then had to be pulled up and rearranged, through all these changes (more than one) it hindered the base of the patio which is the most important part of laying pavers. After many conversations with you (emails which we have) and trying to fix the issues and concerns you had we were unable to come to any agreement, so instead of abandoning your job, we decided to send over a different installer who was belgard certified, we spoke to him and exchanged emails as well as you.. Turned out you decided to hire someone else who isn't even belgard certified which is fine. We also did not charge you for any of the labor put into your patio since it had to be pulled up again which means you only paid for the materials we had delivered to your property- that were reused to lay the patio you have now. We appreciate the time and effort you put into leaving this review which gives us the opportunity to explain our view more. We do not expect every customer to love us or give us a 5 star review but we would at least like the courtesy of leaving an outline of correct events. We strive very hard to make things right and would never abandon a job, ever. Which is why we love to network with other companies- hence sending over a certified belgard installer to finish your job(which you did not hire). We feel there is a huge influx of contractors in the industry making it such a fight for companies to be matched with customers and for customers to get the product they expect for the price. Which is why the comment about the owner of this company is untrue and must have been said out of spite. We pride ourselves in good business practices with high morals and tried so hard to figure out what would work with your project, it seemed as though every time it was figured out we would then receive another call or email from you changing things again. Again we are sorry you decided not to hire the belgard installer we sent over to you but we are happy you received the patio you wanted."
"I am sorry about your unfortunate account of the events of your retaining wall project you describe in your review. Although some of your account is accurate, most of the events are false. We will only address the correct part of your review which is the length of time it took to get back on your wall after we ran out of material on April 2nd. As your stipulation in our contract stated, you had the material covered and only needed labor. Through text messages received from you, the material delivery was delayed and was not delivered until the evening of April 15. As you know there is a high demand for hardscape work in our area, so instead of having 13 days of down time, we had to move forward with the next project we had lined up so as to not further delay the next project due to your delay in getting the materials you were providing. The job we started after we had to leave your job was not completed until after the date of your termination letter. Also the deposit you are referring to did not even cover the 24.4 hours of labor for 2 employees we had on your property before material ran out. We did send you a letter through the mail out lining all of those details, however if you by chance did not receive this letter we will be more than happy to resend it. I am sorry your experience was not what you expected. Also we are one company with several divisions with experts in each divisions instead of being a jack of all trades."
