I thought that I needed to have two switches repaired, but the technician told me that the problem was caused by my replacing incandescent light bulbs with CFL bulbs. I was given good advice about compatibility of various light bulbs and switches.

the estimate was almost half of what it cost. I told them exactly what needed to be done, actually it was less to be done because 2 outlets were fine. electrician said "there's a quick way of doing it or a right way of doing it....don't think the quick way would pass inspection." duh, I told him to do it right way. charged me for time it took him to go get proper equipment and he could have moved faster

Our Thee Electric Company electrician installed two new outlets in our kitchen. He converted a 220 outlet to 110, he added a 110 breaker in our electrical box and he installed a new junction box in our basement to feed the two new outlets in the kitchen. He did all of this and only billed us for two hours. He was quick, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I'm sorry I didn't get his name.
