Timberland Tree Care and Property Maintenance

Do not hire this company. They damaged our fence and didn?t notify us, hoping to get away with it, and they did. We live in North Carolina and pursing any legal action will be next to impossible. Dealing with the owner was also horrible and he will take advantage of you. He originally was just going to cable one of our trees and the next day convinced us to take it down and tried to get more money out of us. Luckily, I have a husband who was able to hold him to his original price. We paid $8,500 cash for tree removal. They left all their trash, damaged our fence and left the piles in our front yard disorganized even after promising to organize it all. Please do not use this company and find someone else who is reputable. We can handle the wood being a little disorganized and some trash, but damaging property and not notifying us is completely unacceptable, especially with how much money he made off of us.

We hired Steve from Timberland to remove two trees from our property. After walking around the property Steve suggested another tree which he told us was dying due to insect infestation. We took his word for it and agreed to that work as well as installation of strapping to support an additional tree that was leaning over the house. While the crew did a pretty good job taking the trees down they failed to install the strapping correctly; Steve agreed and said as much and that he would fix it. They never showed to fix it and stopped responding to my inquiries on when they would. Worse, upon inspecting the additional "ash" tree that had "ash borer infestation" we discovered that the tree was not even an ash. So not only did this company fail to do the job correctly they will lie to you and steal your money by performing services that are not needed. Avoid them at all costs

These dudes showed up and busted out the job quickly and efficiently. They left the yard totally clean.

Very nice and professional. They worked really fast. Timberland had the best price for the scope of work I needed done. I had a tree taken down, 1 medium and 2 tall trees elevated and a ton of honeysuckle removed all along the fence. They ground out all of the stumps. I’m very happy with their work.

Great work, great value, and timely!

They did a great job removing a very large Maple tree from our back yard. It wasn't accessible with a bucket truck, but they got the job done without one. They also did a very good job with the cleanup. The owner ever offered to spread grass seed where some of the grass was damaged. I recommend their work.

For the most part, did a good job on tree service, I had them come back out to tear down a shed and 2 of the workers were about to fight in my front yard, I had to come outside and stop that foolishness not professional at all. The owner was not there but when he came back and found out what happened I did not receive an apology from him, but 1 of the workers that were in the conflict apologized and said the owner was upset and thought I was upset. Yes I was because there was kids outside playing and saw and heard this. Not cool at all.

They always do a great job. They are prompt, honest and do great work!
