Sliding Door - Install
I made contract with Thompson Builders, on 8/18 to have a patio door installed. The week of 9/3/18 we were supposed to schedule to get it installed. He needed money to order the door so I gave him $2000. It has been two months and the project has not been started.

Major Home Repair (General Contractor)
He was a no-show but would be on time when it was time to collect money. He doesn't even answer the phone. I could've at least had a courtesy call to let me know he wouldn't show today.

Doors (Interior) - Install or Replace
Overall I did not get a professional feeling from this company. The owner wanted over half of the money up front, then didn't show up even when there were some issues. He also wanted more money before one door was hung. The workers themselves did a good job and tried to make things right, the doors look good. Due to the owners indifference I would not recommend this company.

More expensive than other quotes. Wanted most of the money up front. Kept adding to the agreed price. Wanted me to buy the paint. Would not recommend this company.

"Jude we agreed on a price. You added more work, thus adding more materials and labor costs. Last I knew you were satisfied. I would have been more than willing to come back out and give you a hand, but this job was completed over a month ago and I never heard anything from you."

Vinyl or Linoleum Sheet Flooring or Tiles - Install
The original quote requirements written up by the owner were not communicated to the actual team performing the work. This caused several delays in the project with additional materials that I needed to pay for up front and deliver to my home because the team did not have a truck. The owner was never present during the install process. The installers were very nice and tried to make things right during the job. We had several heavy scratches in the new floor when furniture was moved back into place by the installers. Trying to get this repair done but I have been waiting for 9 days.

"I am sorry but you helped my worker move your cabinet back on your new floor. I have offered several times to come back and fix but you are not available. I do everything I can to provide my customers with a great experience. My company's name is on the line. I cannot complete every job myself that is why I have people who work for me. You agreed to dispose of the materials for a discounted price, which I agreed upon."
