Thompson did a great job however I overpaid him $60 in error. When asked about the overpayment he never replied. I have reported his business to the Better Business Bureau.

Thompsonâ s did an excellent job repainting two originally stained pieces of furniture that we had for over 25 years. The end result is exceptional. He up and delivered which is a real bonus. We are extremely pleased with his work and will be using his services again in the near future.

Our lovely, older table legs became so wobbly during our move Thompson Furniture Repair reglued, tightened and added temporary braces for our ride home. We ll definitely keep Thompson in our file for any future repair.

He refinished a 35 yr old cherry desk, file cabinets, chair. Changed the color to dark walnut and looks fantastic. Pick up and delivery was very helpful customer service. Forgot some hardware but came back within the day to install. Had him drill a cord hole in desk top which turned out perfect. Much faster turnaround than expected. Curtis knows what to do!

Curtis is a very nice person he came to my house looked at what I was asking for and gave what I thought was kind of steep price and needed half that day but I have no idea how to price these things and Home Advisor wasn't much help with that either! I don't generally negotiate pricing cause you get what you pay for so I tried to add a couple extras until he says that will change the price. Basically I ask for him to make it look new. He takes my furniture and agrees to bring it back in a couple weeks and maybe a little longer. I gave him 2 dressers one to sand and completely paint over (All black) and another to paint over fill in distress marks (created as a design) fix the drawers, even the op of the dresser and smooth out its natural wood top. When Curtis brought my furniture back the one dresser that needed to be painted all black look really good for the most part I still could see a few marks on the top that wasn't sanded well enough I expected a flawless finish with NO marks its a flat surface should be an easy task.. NOW for the second dresser I ask that he smooth out the surface give it a nice smooth to the touch feel not the grainy feel.. We compared it to my kitchen table as to what I was looking for. The top of this dresser feels exactly the same as the day he took it I can still feel the texture of the wood its not smooth and even like discussed. The drawers were fixed but they all don't push in evenly and flush to the dresser they all push in to slightly different depths some of the drawers push in further on one side of the drawer than the other. One drawer moves left and right just as much as it does in and out.. The distress marks were STILL THERE he said ;I would have had to charge you more to do that !!! When he was at my house he told me that would be a lot of work I told him ok I was willing to pay so when he said $400 I thought I was a bit expensive but as long as I get 2 pieces that look new I'm okay with that ONLY for you to NOT do it. The part you said was the hardest you didn't do?? So why did you charge me so much and then not do the work?? The dresser was very weak and shifted when moved he made it sturdy without me even asking.. I do believe Curtis has the skill to do whatever you asked I felt he got a little lazy with me. This has nothing to do with the quality of the work but I did write a check to Curtis for the deposit which bounced I told Curtis I will pay for any fees he may have incurred cause of it, advised him to cash the check a couple days later and it went thru and I pay the other half when he delivered as discussed. After being unsatisfied with the service I decided not to pay any extras or fees I may have caused..

Refinished a coffee table and two end tables. He picked up and delivered the tables and did a great job. Turn around time was better than expected and the price was great. I highly recommend this company.

Thompson Furniture refinished the top of a chipped 14 y/o dinning table. It is absoultly beautiful in fact it looks better than brand new.

He was very quick about coming out to give bid & pickup furniture, but it took him longer than promised to get a sample ready & then finish the job. The 2nd day we had furniture back, the stain around chair arms & legs edges started flaking off. It was obvious that he hadn't stripped old stain off. He told us to get a pen from Lowe?s to fill it in. We did that, but it looks awful. He said he would come by to take a look at it next time he was in our area, but he hasn?t come by for over 2 weeks now.

They were amazing. Did a fabulous job! Picked up the large and extremely heavy table- refinished it and dropped back off to our home. Very nice people! Will definitely use them again.

Curtis did an amazing job on my tables. They look brand new. Would recommend to anyone needing furniture refinished!

He did this one week before Christmas and promised it back in 5 days. He did this.

Did a great job on a complex rare piece restoring it to its natural beauty. I appreciated the advice on another piece that we agreed should not be touched thus demonstrated integrity.

I had already started to refinish this piece of furniture when vacation plans interfered with my finishing it. Mr. Thompson kindly agreed to complete it for me, and even gave me credit for the work i had already done. His work was great and i now have a lovely piece which looks as good as new.

He didn't do very good work at all. My outdoor teak furniture is pealing not even a year after refinishing it. I would not recommend them for this type of repair. Not very reliable on timing and now I will have to go to another company to get it done properly.

He delivered 2 days early and was absolutely amazing. Work was extraordinary!
