Bob did a nice job on exterior painting. He communicated well with me. He worked in a timely manner due to a quick sale of this property. Had weather issues but made the deadline.

quality was great, bob was great to deal with from the quote to the finished product. I was extremely happy with the work and his communicating when he would be working on it. I would recommend him to any one that needs a house painted and would definitely use him again if I need a painter.

Thorpe Decorating does good work. His communication and customer service is not. He wanted $500 up front and then the rest of the bid when the job was done. A week later he asked for another $500 because he was having truck issues. The job was suppose to take a week (weather permitting) and it took almost a month. He went on other jobs before he completed mine. I received a letter in the mail stating the job was finished and he wanted to be paid (in a nice tone) for his service. I had my maintenance person look at the house and he was not complete with the porch. He had about 2-3 days worth of work left. When I addressed this with Thorpe Decorating he said he was "burned" too many times and needed to be paid up front before he would finish the job. I informed him via e-mail the contract was now voided due to the breach of contract. The next morning Thorpe Decorating said he would like to finish. He did finished within 3 days. The work, as I stated earlier, was good. I will not be hiring him again.

They are great to work with. I was very happy with the results.
