Thoughtful Roofer

I generally do not write a review but after the incredibly positive experience with Thoughtful Roofer I felt I needed to share our experience. They are a top notch roofing company, that uses high quality materials and does high quality work; plus Joe Haney and his team were the most helpful, responsible, competent, and professional company we have ever hired to do work at our home. They analyzed the roof condition documented wth photos the damage and needed repairs. After we called the Insurance company to file a claim and set up an inspection, they met the inspector showed him the damage and worked with the insurance company to pay for the replacement roof, less our deductible. They told us the exact procedure to follow, the cost of the new roof, what part of the cost we would be responsible for — in our case it was the deductible and a couple of upgrades we wanted. They showed us the bill of materials they were using so we could look up the particular item to be sure they were of good quality — they were in every case. Placed metal edge guards on the roof edges and used a starter row of shingles at the bottom of the roof edges. Replaced the vents and fans on the roof and checked for proper air flow in the attic. They protected the shrubs around the house from damage by old shingles coming off the roof. They took photos during the roof replacement so we could see what was being installed and the quality of their work. When they finished they again took photos of the roof so we could look at the finished roof and see the quality detail in their work, fitting corners, etc. Did an excellent job of cleaning up. Ran a magnet around the yard several times to pick up nails and other metal from the old roof. In summary they took the burden of dealing with the insurance company off our shoulders once we filed the claim. Joe Haney laid out exactly what they were going to do, the cost of the job and our cost - deductible plus upgrades, and provided a bill of materials they were going to use. Provided photos along the way to verify what they said and show the quality of their work. Cleaned up the yard when they were finished. The Joe Haney and his Thoughtful Roofer team were honest, responsive, did what they promised were very competent in their job performance, and went out of their way to make us happy. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone who needs roof replacement or repair. They get an A+++ as a business.

I cannot say enough about how thorough, thoughtful, and punctual Joe, Gina, and the team at Thoughtful Roofer are. From consultation and inspection to picking shingles and add ons (like our gutter guards that were a fantastic price compared to another local contractor), the process was streamlined and smooth and my questions were answered punctually and with care. The team that came out to replace our roof was amazing - they're courteous and kind, and made sure that our porch and flower beds were thoroughly covered and were super careful around our garden in back as they worked. They were done in a day and the roof looks fantastic - we went from a bummed up, 19 year old roof to an up-to-code, impact resistant, and beautifully done new surface complete with ventilation and drip edge upgrades that will help the roof last so much longer with far less damage over time. I will definitely be recommending Joe and his crew to my friends and clients!

If you’re looking for someone skilled, professional, and dedicated to their craft, I highly recommend Joe, aka “The Thoughtful Roofer.” I had some roof damage and initially filed a claim with another roofer, which was only partially approved. Feeling stuck and unsure of what to do, a friend recommended Joe. Joe came out, assessed the situation, and even recorded a detailed video showing Allstate why a repair wasn’t possible. Thanks to his thorough approach, within three weeks, Joe was installing my new roof! He explained every step of the process in great detail and handled everything from start to finish. We’ve never made a claim for our homeowner insurance. Joe walked us through every step, came out to the house within an hour of the incident, had a tree guy on-site simultaneously, and temporarily patched the roof up as soon as the tree was removed! Did an extremely thorough inspection, found other issues we weren’t aware of, and ended up replacing the entire roof! This is the team you want for your roof repairs. Phenomenal job and a team dedicated to quality work.

Though there was some discrepancies among roofing adjusters, the work and relationship with snd by the contractor Jagris, Inc and its owner and employees was very outstanding. We found the relationship with the job supervised, Joe Haney, to be extremely satisfying and would, and have already, recommended him and Jagris.to at least. Again, concerning Joe: Joe did an outstanding job of explaining what seems to be a somewhat hard subject to understand: the method that insurance companies choose to pay their funding. Joe did an outstanding job in staying on the job throughout.we will continue to recommend Jagris whenever a chance presents itself Robert Gaffin
