Formally, Blackhawk Painting. Changed my name to Tiger, due to another company having the same name unknown to me for years. We do great work at a great price! A fresh coat of paint or stain can bring new life to rooms and decks, add curb appeal to homes, and help protect your investment for years to come. We're happy to bid on all types of painting, staining and interior staining projects in the Chicago land area. We'll meet with you, at your convenience, and provide you with a free, written, detailed estimate no surprise charges added after the fact. Locally owned and operated, we're a small company with big capabilities, including interior painting, exterior painting, and deck finishing, and cabinet refinishing.

Deck, Fence, Patio or Porch Clean and Seal
Joe was very responsive from the start. He offered to come out quickly and give us an estimate. Upon review and approval, he was out to compete the fixing and restaining of our two decks. Joe was very adaptable and adjusted when we asked to have some additional changes made to our lattice work on the deck. He replaced all at a cost far below other quotes and the quality was great. After finishing the deck, Joe said he would be available to power wash, clean, and stain/seal out fence. That was on our to-do list for next summer but he gave a great deal and was out within the week to finish up. Could not be happier. Highly recommend. Very easy to work with, responsive, and great value for the money.

Joe R from Tiger Painting is outstanding!! From the time I called to get a quote to the completion of the job! Easy quote, came to complete the work fast and the work was fairly priced!!! I have an old house and was having a hard time finding a painter that could mimic the faux design that was in the plaster. I messaged a couple pictures of the faux design and Joe assured me he could duplicate it to get the job done! If I could give him 10 stars I would. So he fixed the chipping faux design and gave it a couple coats of paint. Iâ m so happy with his work, Iâ m having him back to refinish my front doors!!! Thanks Joe!!! Your the Best!!!

No need to look for anyone else. Joe is who to go with! He is prompt, professional and super clean with his work! He painted our 10x14 bedroom space in less than 2 hours. Everything was taped off and not one drop of paint was to be found on the floor, ceiling or trim. I was in awe & cannot stop admiring the paint job in the room. Couldnâ t be happier! Joe was awesome! He did a great job in guiding me through his process and helped me to get great quality paint. He was flexible when scheduling and worked very efficiently to get the job done. Joe did a very good job and is very meticulous in his work . First he sprayed a cleaning solution on the deck , then he power washed the deck . The next day he sealed the 14x24 deck with 4gals of very good sealer . My 30 years old deck looks brand new and Joe has my permission to show pictures of the deck . We are very happy with his work .

Caveat to this review….my painting request was done in a vacant home and had no immediate deadline to get it completed. Joe is an awesome guy…easy to work with and he listens to you…the customer. He was immediately responsive to my initial request to paint all my home’s interior walls and trim. He showed up on the dates/times when he said he was coming to the house. He was reasonably priced well, especially for the quality of his work. He left no messes (always concerned about that with hardwood floors), did a couple of extra wall repairs for me including one ruffed up door trim. I am very pleased with the work Joe did. I would highly recommend Joe and would use him again, without hesitation.

Joe is the best! I got a couple painters quotes, and I am SO GLAD we went with him. He helped me choose colors and finally make a decision. I trusted him 100% and it paid off beautifully! Him and his other worker (Jamille/Jameel? Not sure the spelling) worked tirelessly to finish my entire home in just a couple days. Joeâ s attention to detail and artistic sense is unbeatable. He isnâ t a nickel and dime type of businessman, but instead, he takes true pride in his work. We are more than happy with our home aesthetic, and itâ s all thanks to Tiger painting!! The other reviews also mentioned how personable he is and they werenâ t wrong. He makes you feel comfortable and just wants everyone to be happy. I loved being able to talk freely with him about different tasks and not worry heâ d get annoyed. I ended up tacking on a few more things to the job. He took it each new task with a smile. All his hard work definitely paid off in the end because the finished product was immaculate!

Joe meant well but everything that could go wrong did plus Covid didn't help but other contractors made it through it.
