About us

Tigran's Precision Painting is an owner-led painting company serving Chattanooga, TN and nearby areas. We paint interiors, exteriors, and kitchen cabinets, and we stain decks and fences. Painting is all we do. Owner Tigran Karapetian brings more than 20 years of painting experience and is on site for every project. How it works: 1. Send us the rooms or areas and a few photos. We reply the same day. 2. We come out for a free walkthrough and give you a detailed written estimate. 3. Our crew covers floors and furniture, then does the prep: patching, caulking, sanding, and priming where needed. 4. We paint with Sherwin-Williams (or Benjamin Moore on request), clean up every day, and walk the finished job with you. The price on your estimate is the price you pay unless you add or remove work. Every job comes with a two-year workmanship warranty in writing. Licensed (TN #12728), bonded, and insured.

Tigran' crew painted the entire interior of my house. He is very thorough and made sure I chose just the right paint. He is also a nice man to deal with, as is his crew. Both Roberto and Camille did an excellent job and were here right on time every day. Highly recommend this company.

Very professional company with fantastic painters. I was very impressed and I’ve been in the construction industry for many years. It’s incredibly difficult to find a good painter that’s reasonable and trustworthy. They are detail oriented and even helped me pick paint colors! They were so good I had them come back for a second job. I have very high standards and a bit OCD. The did absolutely everything I wanted and couldn’t be happier. Nothing but high recommendations!

I hired Tigran for a bathroom cabinet installation, and the work was both professional and high-quality. The pricing was fair, and I will certainly hire them again.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Tigran on my stair building project. He did two sets of stairs for my deck and a set of stairs going up to a treehouse. He carefully listened to my requirements and went above and beyond my expectations. The quality of his work was outstanding. I remember he said he wanted my stairs to be “beautiful” - he definitely achieved his goal! On future projects, I would not hesitate to contact him again. It’s wonderful to know. I have someone this reliable and proficient that I can call on.

Tigran and team did a super job on painting our home. They painted our living room with vaulted ceiling and over our stairs and high pets of kitchen. We had large cracks and they plastered and repaired and painted and made everything new and really took extra detailed time. Another painter bidding the job said they would do it in a day. But I knew plastering is better if done with time and attention to detail and that is exactly what Tigran gave it. We are really happy with their work. It was a difficult job because of our high ceilings and they did excellent work.

Absolutely wonderful company. They were quick to respond, they worked with me within my budget, they were kind and caring. The one who painted was very kind and hardworking. They did a great job and fixed a big problem for me. I look forward to working again with them in the future

Tigran did a great job installing a medicine cabinet and new lighting fixture in our bathroom. He went out of his way to secure better hardware that would be safer to hang the cabinet than what was provided by the box.

Tigran and his team did an amazing job painting all 7 of our rooms! They were super professional, worked fast, and kept everything clean. The paint looks flawless - smooth, even, and just perfect. I could not be happier with how it all turned out! Definitely calling them again for future projects!
