My experience with this contractor has been appalling. After the initial meeting and agreement to perform concrete and tile work (quoted seperately for the concrete, tile, and tile installation labor), I paid for half the labor and all the tile as an initial payment. The concrete work was completed first and a week delay scheduled while I was out of town. After i returned the remaining wheel barrow sized pile of left over concrete was still on the side of the house and it took weeks of numerous calls to finally get the tile. After such delays I got another contractor to do the work. This one still owes me part of my initial payment.

On 4-5-10, I went into contract with Danny Herrera of Tile Installation Services. He stated to me that he had 10 jobs going on and could fit me in but I needed to move quickly as he was going out of town. He met my designer and even demo'd the existing countertop the same day. I paid him $1625 of $3250. Four days later he asks me to front him an additional $1500 which I did. To this day, 5-9-19 he has not done any additional work, just demo's the countertops on 4-5-10. This has caused me tons of grief. I have his license plate number and am tracking him down now so my brother, who is a lawyer can do his stuff. Beware of this guy.

Quoted 3/29. Work began 4/19. Tile work and quarter round was installed very good but the painting of the baseboard & quarter round was a mess. They used gray over my white baseboard & got paint on the wallpaper & tile floor instead of using masking tape. Came back the next morning with a white that was too white & didn't match. It was obvious where they missed areas with the gray paint that didn't cover the previous white paint. The work ended 4/24. He was to call me & set up re-painting the following week. Never heard from him again nor did he return my call & today is 5/3.

Performed a hard area minor repair quickly

I was able to get a quick response to my request as well as a visit from Mr. Danny Herrera following our first conversation. We received an accurate quote for labor and that was followed by a good deal on the materilal we selected. Work was started and completed in a timely manner and care was taken by his work crews in the handling of furniture and the work they completed. Danny and his crew did an excellent job and were very professional. I felt very comfortable with his crew being alone in my home for the two day project.

Tile Installation Services did what looks to be a quality job, but working with this contractor was horrible. They were consistently 2-3 hours late to the job, or didn't show up at all without calling to let us know the change of plans. When they did show up, they would only work 1-2 hours and then leave. Tile Installation Services charged us for material, but then took the extra with them. I would never use this contractor again...

Danny was very helpful, very professional, the work wae don in a professional manner. Danny was very easy to work with, was no hard selling,was there on the day that he said he would be (this was very inportant to me). All in all I am very satisfied with you and your crew.

Very courteous and timely upon initial repairs. Mr. Herrera accepted money for tiles to be delivered for two more rooms. There was one telephone call after three months. After six months more there was no response despite frequent calls and emails to his company. He never delivered the tile. It is best to find another contractor.
