Customer Service needs improvements,Owner promised to come by and inspect roof,didn't come by or call,had to call him next day to get him to come out,and he didn't even mention him not showing up the day before:Work was done well,but I found a spot his guys missed,and to Tim's credit,he got it fixed asap:I was unable to make contact with Tim afterward,(and to this day) to get a receipt for the work done;

The best product briefing I have seen; an excellent explanation of what was about to take place including many considerations and pitfalls most customers would not be aware of. The workmen were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and well supervised. Not surprisingly, the company owner is a U.S. Military Veteran. I highly recommend First Coast Roofing.

The roofer did more than expected and the price was right.

Scott was great. They did the job in great time. Got in touch right away after contactng through web site. So far so good ,it rained the same day after they were done and haven't seen a leak.

We received quotes from both Home Depot and Sears for nearly the same price--$14,800. The guy from Sears didn't even go up to look at the roof. He said it was not permitted because we hadn't signed a contract and therefore he wouldn't be insured for any damage to either the roof or himself. The Tim Bates Roofing rep came, looked, checked everything out, sat down and gave us a very detailed report on what needed to be done and how they would do it. He included some special features that the first two guys didn't even mention. His price was $8,455 and they did the entire job in ONE DAY!!! Forget Home Depot and Sears if you need a new roof.

Very professional and prompt. He came quicker than I expected and promptly went about the task of completing the job. He kept me informed at each step of the process. As of yet there has been no significant rain to test his work on the roof. I am waiting....

My appointment was scheduled within an hour of my first call, Scott arrived on time, explained what needed to be done and completed the repair on that visit. He was courteous, professional and I was very comfortable having him do the necessary repair.

I knew when I talked to Scott that's who I wanted to do the job. He went into great detail explaining how and what he would do. I was impressed of how proud he was of his work. He was a very hard worker wit a VG crew.

I met with a rep from Tim Bates ...arranged to to have the job done...it was completed in a timely manner....just waiting for rain to make sure job was performed as agreed

Tim came out on time and gave a professional presentation and offering of his services. I was very impressed with the way he presented me with all of the information even before I asked for it. The day of the roof replacement, his team of workers came out on time and got right to work. They were fast and efficient. Left my yard looking better than before they started. He did not come in as the least expensive, however after explaining tax credits available I was able to purchase a top quality roof for very slightly more than the lowest bidder.

The seller was very professional and knowledgable. He also cane very prepared for a roofing solution for my house. They also was the only company to suggest attic cooling as a energy efficiency option for my home including about solar venting.The sales man was on time, listened to my wants and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. Thiscompany was right on target with industry knowledge and best practices. The salesman honestly suggested what would give my home the best look and protection. A few days after getting my estimate it rained and the company used a 3-D image of my roof to find a solution. Great !

They we very prompt, cleaned up well after work was done, did a beautiful job workers worked till the project was complete didnt quit right at 5pm. very pleased. Tim Bates was on sight before during and after to over see the project.

I loved the presentation by Mike Wright, describing the function and benefits of a metal roof. The installers worked very hard. We were unhappy with some details of the finished project, but Tim made sure that everything was corrected to our satisfaction.

Bates roofing took two days to complete the job. Day one was removal of the old shingles and flashing metal. Second day was applying �Peel and Stick� water proof under lament, shingles, edge flashing ridge vents and the addition of two solar powered exhaust fans. The crew did a good job to include clean up. The attic area is much cooler as a result of the addition of the ridge vents and exhaust fans. I rank this company with five stars.
