I hired Mr Goodall to repair a refrigerator. When he pulled the frig out from the wall he gouged our wood floors in two areas about a foot in length. He also swung the door open against the countertop and caused two divots in the stainless front plate. When we pointed this out to him, he acknowledged no responsibility, nor offered any restitution. The cost to repair the floor will exceed $800. I would not recommend Mr Goodall for anything.

"On 1/117 I diagnosed and repaired a problem with a fridge of no water at the dispenser. I followed up that night to confirm that everything was working fine. Lucy, the customer said that yes water was flowing and thanked me for checking (No mention of the successful repair and follow up was in the review) Scott G. who appears here as John G? (not sure why he's using an alias here, maybe because he's a high ranking officer in the air force, not wanting to be associated with a negative and questionable review?) asked me for a military discount which I happily gave as my policy for respecting our valued military. I heard nothing about any alleged damage until 7 months later when I saw this review. I contacted the customer and tried to resolve the issue but too much time had passed. Anyone or anything could have done the damage they claimed in that time frame. This type of behavior just isn't me. The responsibility of the customer being honest and prudent would be to bring any issue up at the time and have it resolved in a timely manner when everything is fresh. This did not happen. I'm sure that if this customer really thought that I did damage, he would have written this review immediately and asked me to resolve it, not 7 months later when they think they need a new floor and help paying for it."

I was able to schedule the repair of a toilet flushing mechanism within a few days. Tim purchased the necessary items and the repair was smooth and quick while the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use his service again and I highly recommend him to others.

Our furnace lost power and Tim was able to make it out the same day when other companies were 4-7 days out! Tim was a consumate professional. He is extremely courteous and definitely knows what he is doing. He was able to fix our problem using parts that I had on-hand, so I only had to pay the service fee. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. In short, he will be my first call from now on for any furnace or AC problems!

Tim the Tool Man was a little but he called before explaining why he will be late. His diagnostic was on point, very patient and took his time to find out what the root of the problem was with our washer. Thankfully it was not something major and he was able to fix it the same day, the rate was great too for his time and work load. I highly recommend Tim the Tool Man and I will be calling him when I need someone to look at our appliances from now on.

Tim the Tool Man was a great choice. He was prompt and courteous. He was able to repair my oven at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new one. He even noticed a problem with my screen door when he left and was able to fix that as well!

Ceiling Fan - Repair
Tim fixed our problem quickly, was very pleasant and professional, a terrific value for the price, will recommend to all. Was honest about what he does and doesn't do, finally, someone who does what they say when they say it, and will be called upon again by us. You will not regret having Tim in your house.

Tim fixed my mailbox today that was damaged this winter. I sent payment before he started work and he came to my home, did what he said he was going to do, and even sent me a picture of the completed project when I was at work. It absolutely made my day! my husband and I would very please with tims work both of are disabled and we have a ramp and Tim redid the ramp for us. Love it so much. He also fixed the inside closet door for us it looks great. also put a light in my bay window. Tim was personable and is very good worker, kind also let me know what he was doing next. I would highly recommend Tim to my friends and family and as a matter of fact I have. Also clean up after his job was done. I will be having more work done for my husband and Me.

Storm Door - Repair
My family and I just recently moved to Savannah, GA and we were in the process of selling our home in Omaha, NE. During the process of selling our home the storm door didn't shut all the way and during 35-45 mph winds it damaged the door and column. We were upset because we were over a 1000 miles away and couldn't assess how bad it was or what needed to be done to fix the problem. We called Tim and he was able to get there within a few hours and access the damage. He quickly called me back and sent me pictures with a solution to fix the door. Tim did a fantastic job of fixing the door and column when we weren't able to be there. I would recommend Tim to anyone that wants high quality workmanship at a fair price. Thank you Tim!

I gave Tim a call after discovering a leak issue in a newly purchased house. I looked on HomeAdvisor for a referral. Tim was one of the two numbers I called. The first didn't answer and I left a message. Tim answered on the second ring and we set up a time for him to come check out the problem. He showed up on time that very day. We were able to troubleshoot the problem, find it's source, and come up with a solution. Saving me a lot of money had I taken it a different route. I would gladly hire Tim again and plan to do so if need be.

I would highly recommend Tim. He is very personable and does great work. He is always honest, reliable, a great communicator, and a very clean worker. I never have to clean up after he leaves. My electric dryer stopped working yesterday. I found Tim on Home Advisor. I called him last night, and he was here before noon today. He was here for over an hour, and got the dryer working. With Tim's guidance, we decided we needed to buy a new dryer. Tim was professional, prompt, clean, and an excellent communicator, and he charged us his rate for a service call. We will definitely call Tim again for home repairs. He is very versatile.

Tim was extremely responsive to my service request and was able to provide an immediate appointment. He arrived right on time and went right to work on the repair. The repair was a result of the original installation error which ended up being a minor fix. There would have been perfect opportunity for him to "sell me on something that was not required." He also acted a personal shopper going to Home Depot to purchase a new garbage disposal. Above and beyond in my estimation. I am a single woman who lives alone and at times have reservations about having a stranger come into my home. I felt comfortable and safe during the entire transaction. I highly recommend Tim for any needs you may have.

Tim is very professional and did an excellent job on our window frame. He came to look at the window and told us what the estimate would be. He came the next week, fixed the problem and stayed within the estimate he had given us. We will definitely use him again when we have other projects around the house.

On Apr 7, 2015 I hired Tim Goodall to install a water heater. He told me it would cost around $300 to complete this job. After he worked on it, he handed me a bill for over $450 and told me he could not complete the work and that I would need to call someone else to finish it. He left me with open pipes and no water, and now I will have to pay someone else to complete the job. In review, He charged more than he quoted, did not finish the job, and left me with no water and open pipes. I am extremely disappointed with this company! Do not hire Tim to install a water heater. Thank you

"I spoke to Roger's wife Jane first thing in the am when I looked at the job and told her that to do the job right it would take more time to re-route the pipes correctly. Prior to this I had only given a ball park over the phone estimate for jobs like this on the average. I also told Jane that I might not be able to complete the lines going to the washer but that I would try, and that If I could not then they would need to hire a licensed plumber to do that portion. Jane talked to Roger on the phone and gave me the go ahead. Roger was there in person at noon and I explained the same thing. He gave me the go ahead."
