Big talk from other tree services that said they'd be there that didn't show up and didn't return calls. These guys were there when they said they would be and they stayed in touch and did a great job.

Know what it will cost up front. Hard for some companies but not these pros. Clear expectations, options, quote. Had two big spruce that needed to come down. Three-man team did the job. Would use again.

This company, which claims to be a Maine licensed arborist, gave a quote for pruning and trimming my entire property in July, said they would be here in Sept., showed up in Oct. with no notice on a day we were not at home, hacked away at apple trees that now need to be totally removed, did not finish the job, left the property a mess and was unresponsive to phone calls, texts, and emails. Has been reported to the Maine arborist licensing entity. Inexplicably poor work and communication, requiring me to hire others to deal with the damage caused. Does not appear to be a skilled arborist. Goes by name of Lao Gillam or Lao Tan.

They spent 40 minutes taking a branch off my garage roof,and wanted to charge me $400.00 dollars.I gave them a check for $200.00. they blew all the chips on my lawn and refused to clean them up and also left same twigs on the lawn.They had no receipt book to write a receipt for my check

They contacted us immediately, came out and looked at our situation carefully, and gave us a number of solutions and a very accurate estimate. They showed up when they said they would. Timber Hitch removed three trees at my request, limbs were chipped, good or usable wood was hauled off-site to be utilized for home heating. Workers are very friendly, are also very considerate regarding both site cleanup and following property owners request that could cause possible damage to owners property. Will be hiring again for more tree removal. TimberHitch was hired again by me to remove numerous very large trees this summer, meaning Summer of 2020. At least two trees were over 80 years old with numerus large trunk branches which were located very close to my home. TimberHitch safely removed these trees in addition to some smaller and dead trees which could have created problems with my home. Also there was a very tall tree near my garage which was removed as it was close enough to both my home and garage which could have caused considerable damage to either if toppled by winds. Due to the fact I was now faced with large amounts of wood to be removed from my property TimberHitch contacted a logging company at my request to have the wood removed. Their cleanup during and after removal of the trees was outstanding, also due to COVID-19 they were considerate about keeping social distancing while I was discussing work with them. I have another tree removal project coming up, TimberHitch will be contacted for this project.
