Tony Rodrigues subcontracted my project to Timber Rock Home Improvement but did not tell me he was doing that ahead of time. The project was to build a front entry stoop w/steps and railings, install storm door andpour a 6 X 10 cement patio and build a canopy over it. The 3 Timber Rock men sent to do the work were not qualified, mixed the cement inconsistently resulting in yellow mottled cement surface. They left cement dust all over my yard, driveway, front walkway, inside my garage, on my patio furniture. The workers used my garden hose without permission ruining it with cement dust stepping all over it - Tony Rodrigues gave me a credit for it because I had to buy a new hose. Without permission they took my herbal planter cinder blocks when they ran out and used them to build the front entry and tried to talk me into accepting that. Tony made them replace what they took. I had to hire a power washing company to remove the cement residue that they left all over the porch, walkway, sidewalk and street gutter - Tony had to subtract that from the estimate. They dumped cement slurry behind my garage - Tony made them remove that. Tony mentioned that he should not have sent them to do any cement work - too late for me. They did not have tools, they left a mess, they did not mix the cement correctly. They installed the storm door incorrectly - they did not read the instructions and I had to point out that the door closer didn't go on the floor level of the door. All in all it was a Three Stooges show. Do not hire TR Construction or Timber Rock to do work because they subcontract and hire untrained and unqualified workers. I removed the railings from the estimate because I no longer trusted that they would do anything correctly. The last communication I had with Tony was a few weeks ago to inquire when he was coming back to resuface the patio and he told me it was too small a job. I asked what did they use for mortar on the front landing and he never called back

The guys works very well

Gervin came into my home and installed cabinets but did not install the spacers between the units and now they rub against each other (the drawers rub against the cabinet doors). The cabinets were not to code (the uppers should be a minimum of 18" above the counter top and these are only 10"). He knew they were not to code but installed them anyway. One of the upper pieces of filler was installed backwards so the color is different than the rest of the cabinets. The person doing work on my home who hired Gervin signed off on the work and therefore the cabinet company said I am stuck with the poor workmanship. Gervin told me he knew this work was not quality work and that the cabinets were not to code but installed them anyway. He told me if I ordered new cabinets and fillers he would fix his work. I ordered and paid for the parts in April but it is now August and I have not been able to get Gervin to return my phone calls or text messages. I called the cabinet company from where he was hired and they tried several times to reach him. He finally called me back to say he would do the work and now again, he will not return my calls. I find this to be frustrating and rude.
