Think inexperience in the type of job I had played a role in the final product they produced. Pictures speak a thousand words and I would be surprised if you see any from my project in their portfolio on-line.

The crew showed up on time and completed the job the next day. The landscape design complements my houses architecture. The owner visited the following day and, after a walk-through, felt that some plants could be moved slightly to increase the overall visual appeal. He will have his crew come back to do this before the plants spread their roots. Although I was satisfied before, I can see that he is correct and I am thrilled that he will do this.

Bill was great to work with. I received a follow-up phone call the day after submitting my request via Service Magic. He was expeditious in setting a time to get out and see the job. He got back to me with a quote the very next day. I love the fact that whenever I was given dates on start times and project finish time, Bill and his crew got the job done within the stated period. There were no cost over-runs. The job was finished as described and laid out. Thumbs up for Timber & Stone. I would certainly use them again.

We hired Bill Laisdell of Timber and Stone to repair the patio steps that he originally built six years ago because the steps were sinking in and were loose becoming a safety hazard. He only warrants his work for 3 years so we rehired him to repair his work. His crew fixed the steps, but caused damage to some paver inserts on the top landing making it look awful. Mr. Laisdell acknowledged the problem and said he would fix the damage himself but never did. He rarely returned calls and then went into hiding making it a nightmare to resolve this. It's been over a year. Go to someone else!

I thought my little backyard might be too small to attract the interest of a genuine landscape designer, but Stephanie at Timber and Stone treated my project and ideas with total professionalism and attention. She was prompt, had a polished design and cost estimate in my hands within a week of initial contact. Then, she set the date for installation and met that date and went beyond my expectations with the most healthy, lush perennials and shrubs! My yard looks terrific, as if the plantings have been there naturally for years. Just cannot say enough good about this company. Will use again.

Bill Laisdell and his project foreman Mike were excellent. Initially, Bill came within 2 days of our call to review what we wanted - repair and expansion of our paver patio. He gave us creative ideas for the project, including how to reuse our current pavers and incorporate contrasting pavers to provide more visual interest. He provided a very reasonable written estimate the same evening. He also indicated the project could be completed around the second week of July. After the contract was signed, he confirmed a July 12th start. Bill then called on July 4th to ask if they could actually start July 5th because another project was delayed. They came promptly on the 5th and completed our patio in 2 days. The project came out beyond our expectations. Foreman Mike and his crew were meticulous doing the work and as important also did a great job cleaning up the area upon completion. Great communication, great work and very reasonable pricing. Recommend without reservation.
