Absolute Construction

This is obviously a start up company that needs to upgrade their equipment in order to be efficient with their performance.

This pro was not a pro at all! I hired Tim and Absolute Construction for a bathroom remodel and some drywall work for a small hallway. It was an Absolute mess. Tim made us believe that he was a professional contractor, with an experienced team. He promised us that the job would be done in 7 days or less. We found both to be untrue and had to fire him from the job, 20 days later and the job is still not complete and to our dismay the quality of work was horrendous. Here are the reasons why we had to fire Tim and are not happy with the services provided: He lied to us about his work schedule. He told us at the time we hired him that he could work 8 hours a day. He showed up late often, he insisted on working nights, which we never agreed to. He finally told us he had another day job, The drywall work looked like it was done by a 10 year old, uneven cuts, wide gaps and uneven/unfinished finishing. Tim never did finish this simple job. He left tools, junk and trash all over the house. We talked to him several times about his sloppy work, his late arrivals and he made lots of excuses, promised to make it better, but never did. He hired unprofessional and inexperienced workers. They often sat around doing nothing. They took extended meal breaks. Tim also was on the phone all the time during the job. We have cameras and witnessed these unprofessional behaviors often. This caused lots of mistakes and time wasted. We asked Tim to not have them back into the house and requested that he be focused on the job. Tim installed the shower tile incorrectly, Bad cuts, large gaps, small gaps, uneven application. There is now 8 ft of tile that we have to tear out. Huge cost implications here. When we spoke to him about it, he blew us off and said oh well. How I do tile, not my problem if you do not like it. The floor tile was a little bit better, but there are numerous loose tiles that were not properly placed. uneven cuts that do not line up. Again, Tim was sloppy in his work and got mortar all over the new tile which he never bothered to clean or protect. Looking back, I think Tim also showed me pictures of work that he did not perform and possibly his reference was a fraud. I am mortified and very disappointed. I would not recommend Absolute Construction to any users and I am now looking to utilize Happiness Guarantee because I am not in anyway satisfied with the work performed.
