This company is a total rip off and has the worst customer service of any company I have ever worked with in my lifetime. Called four times and left a message for Ken Tingey always told they were shorthanded and he was on a job. Never called back about the heater not working. Had to call another heating company and I was told I was sold a wrong size unit for my condo and it is now burned out and trash. So after buying a brand new heater less than 3 years ago it is now junk and I have to buy a new heater. The only way I could get a call back from Tingey was to tell them if I did not get a call back I was putting up bad reviews. Got as call back ASAP and was screamed at by Candy and then hung up on several times trying to resolve the situation. She then sent me a text stating "Reviews go up we are done and I wont even look into it" Beware of this nightmare company so you don't fall like I did. Also they threatened me if I posted the truth online.
Response from Tingey Plumbing & Heating, Inc.
"Brian Let me state the facts: Brian?s furnace was installed on March 4 of 2013, and during the past four years we have not received a call for any problem what so ever. The furnace was sized correctly for the unit and was more efficient. When Brian called us to let us know that his furnace had been replaced, he neglected to mention that he was extremely abusive to our dispatcher. Brian hung up on her, threatened her, and demanded immediate attention even though no one was available to speak to him about his complaint. In addition Brian did not give us the opportunity to take care of his furnace problem. If he had called us to go out and take care of his furnace we would have let him know he still had a year left on the manufacturer?s warranty, if in fact it needed to be replaced at all. There are technicians from other companies that are not the most ethical when diagnosing a problem. Now let?s address the four times that Brian called. He called on 1/27/17 at 11:20AM, then three more times that day and then again on 1/27/17 which was a Saturday (two more times) demanding to speak to Ken who was was not available on Friday as he was out working on customer jobs and he volunteers on Saturdays for 6-7 hours. Also 2/24/17 at 11:06 AM I was made aware by the dispatcher that (consumer name withheld per their request) ) called and was threatening the dispatcher, on my day off. I debated about taking the call but decided it might be important to determine the cause of such aggressive behavior and so I then called Scott. I wanted to find out why he was threatening our dispatcher and understandably I was very upset, after several minutes I was told his real name and assured him that I would look into the matter but would not do anything if he wrote bad reviews about our company, which Brian proceeded to do almost immediately. I only hung up after numerous pleas to keep the conversation professional, to stop threatening me, and to let me converse which he would not do, and I did not scream at him. We cannot do anything for Brian as he hired another company to replace the furnace, so we cannot determine the cause of it not functioning. Brian hired someone else to take care of the problem before he contacted us and claimed their technician said it was trashed, which we cannot determine unless we see the furnace. Brian was extremely abusive and deceptive in every way possible, both the dispatcher and I felt threatened and afraid by his extremely aggressive behavior, so much so that we called the Murray police to report the conversations that same day. Brian is not telling the whole truth which does not surprise me as he bragged to me that he was good at using this exact technique before to take down other companies to get what he wants. Brian?s technique to threaten and harass a company into submission is definitely not in keeping with writing an honest review. Reviews are meant to inform other customers looking to hire a company for work as to the nature"
