First rate outfit! Each member of the team was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The proprietor, Marc Tirone, was present on the job and made sure the driveway was configured to our specifications. He was very sincere in our discussions. The men worked as a team to accomplish an extremely difficult removal of a cement step and to replace it with granite. Everything turned out fabulous! I would highly recommend TCS to anyone.

Asphalt Sealing
I wanted them to use squeegee to get into and fill cracks. They assured me that their spray would work just as well. The spray did not fill many of the cracks. Very dissatisfied with result.

"this Cust has me confused with another company I didnot perform the work on his driveway I offer both applications but before we seal any driveway we fill the cracks with a hot rubberized joint sealant on EVERY driveway!"

Kept me informed all the way. Called me to tell me they would be late to arrive because of a flat tire on their big truck and had to wait for a tire service to repair it. When finished, called again to tell me they were on the way.

The asphalt was porous and not tight laid. I complained about one particular spot and they said it would be fine when a top coat is applied but may need two coats. Over the winter a pot hole formed in this area. I have call a few times to have them come out an repair under the 1 year guarantee but the owner has not returned my calls. The salesperson who sold me the work called me to say he no longer works at TCS. If they end up calling me back and fix it then I would my ratings since they were very responsive on the front end.

Extremely satisfied with the quality of their work. The entire crew were diligent workers, very friendly and made sure they cleaned up after they finished. I would have no hesitation about hiring this contractor again for another home improvement project. In fact, while they were working on my project my neighbor hired them to do a paving job for him as well. Price wise they were very competitive and I know I got full value for the money spent. I would recommend them without hesitation.

This contractor was great. They came out on rainy Sunday night to estimate the job. The price was very fair. They did the excellent job on my driveway and sidewalk. They put a nice grade on the driveway to help with drainage from my house. I could not be happier with results. I have already recommended them and Home Advisors to a friend.

Hired Marc to repave out driveway. The price was right and he was fairly responsive/professional throughout the estimate and followup period. The crew paved the driveway and it was very soft and have some minor issues with the edging. Marc said to let it set over the winter and it would be fine and tried touching up the edges so they didn't crumble off one side of the driveway was thin on the edge and not cut at an angle). The following summer I told Marc the drive way still soft, had some depressions, etc. He came by and said it would be fine as he sealed it. He sealed it early fall 2013. That winter, and following summer it continued to get worse, will a economy size car leaving depression marks after a couple days early spring and previous depression areas still there or worse. I tried contacting him again to no avail. In essence, I was strung along during the warranty period and followup sealing work, when the issue was the asphalt mixture (had two other companies look at it).

"followed up every time with customer the issue was not the asphalt but the customer turning his wheels while siting stile in is car, i had repaired it two times at no cost to him, customer continued to do this repeatedly as i advised and showed him how not to do it, I had to draw the line somewhere.."

Great overall experience. Crew was very nice and cleaned up after themselves. After old pavement was removed they had to re-grade the slope of my driveway - they did a lot of work to get the grade just right before they laid down any new pavement.

Scheduling was a bit of a problem but once resolved everything went along very smoothly. Steve gave me the estimate. Marc managed the work and his crew was pleasant and polite (nice extras in attitude!). As promised, they returned a few days later and filled and graded with top soil the newly exposed area that had once been under pavement. I would definitely recommend Tirone to anyone.

The crew was right on scheduled as soon they got to my house they called me for a quick tour just to go over for what we talked previously. when everything on plan was fine they attack the project so fast that they even did a second job around my neighborhood very nice guys I recommend them. just one problem phone communication you leave a message and they don't get back to you till the next day sometimes.

I would give a higher rating if they come and install the rubber strip as promised. They are very friendly and courteous. Marc, the owner was there the entire time to make sure the job was done correctly. However, there was some disconnect between sales and work team. We agreed to move just the top portion of the driveway 4’ from the original location; instead, they moved almost the entire driveway. I don’t believe it was done intentionally as it actually added more work for them and for me. Overall, I would recommend TCS as they did a very good paving job.

While this company seems to do quality work there are three major problems which is why I would not recommend them when paving your driveway. 1. Unethical cost escalation: end price nearly double the original quote; 2. Hidden costs--performed work under guise cost included in quote, then I received a new statement, after the work was performed for another $7,000.00; 3. Not responsive--the job was supposed to take a week, 5 wks later still not paved; numerous excuses for why couldn't come to the job--I stopped work w/ Company

"Cust had an existing premeter failed drainage system dumping the water from her sump pump under her driveway that could not have been seen with out tearing up the old driveway that caused the driveway to fail once I Marc the owner found it, i consulted the homeowner about the problem and she asked if i could repair it, i told her yes and installed a brand new system up to code ran a new line into town drainage after i dealt with the town and got it oked by the town, i told her a estimate which was within 500.00 of final invoice which she paid in full told cust i wanted to let the driveway settle because of the new drain system"

After making the start date, wasn't contacted till the night before. The work was completed and the driveway never looked better. Anytime I had a question or concern it was addressed immediately. I couldn't find anyone else who could match the price or the quality. They went above an beyond and if I can get 15-20 years I will be extremely happy. The whole curb appeal changed and the hardscaps are not completed to my complete satifaction. Never saw a crew work so hard either.
