Bathroom - Remodel
This guy is a scammer and a pill head. Destroyed my house . I paid him 27000 he destroyed it . Pluming had to be redone . Everything he touched he did wrong . He would be in his phone half the day and late and hardleu ever showed up . He is looking for money that is it .. heâ s under investigation already from the state . Do not hire this addict. If need pictures or info please contact me .Beware

I have hired Tom and his associates multiple times and also recommended them him to friends and clients. He does a really good job for a very fair price. He has excellent follow through and if Problems arise within the project he is very diligent about figuring out good solutions and listening to the customer. He has brought a great deal of expertise to my many many projects over the years.

Bathroom - Remodel
TM Home Improvements did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. They did an amazing job on our tile, and completely transformed our bathroom by creating a custom walk in shower. Additionally, TM installed large replacement windows, French doors, and a new steel door for us. All their work has been first rate! TM is our go to contractor.

Deck or Porch - Repair
Tom was great, but must have been very busy. He made sure everything was right with us, but often forgot tools or materials needed to do the job, and sometimes forgot he was supposed to work on a particular morning. Many times we were lending him our things. Overall, Tom and his crew were fantastic and trustworthy, and were completely open to making sure we were happy with their work. They had great suggestions to make it look even better, and the value of their work was very good.

Tom did a good job on the siding.. Tom came back and fixed things we found not to our liking We had a couple of windows replaced too. Tom a likable person, but needs supervision at each phase of the job, to make sure it passes , before going to the next. Thanks Tom for a good job.

We hired this contractor to do an acid dye on our basement floor. The color turned out good, but they didn't put the sealer on correctly and it is flaking off in places and in other areas it is rough. I contacted Mr. McNeil and he even came back and said that it needed

"The homeowner chose an acid etching stain and sealer by Valspar . I had questioned the reason she wanted to apply a floor finish to her unfinished basement having no rough in completed the potential damage, and the nature of a non-resiliant floor , but their decision was to move forward with the floor. I received a call about imperfections in the floor about 2 months after completion upon my visit i discovered a big stack of 2x4s and metal chairs along w/ trikes and toys which scuffed the finish we offered free labor if she would rent a floor buffer but she refused . I even had a valspar rep try to explain the routine maint."

I had back splash work performed and the rate quoted was reasonable, he was very patient while doing the work and I was happy with the tile work but I was not happy with the grouting work. One more thing, I was asked to pay sales tax on labor. Never had to do that before and this was never presented to me in the rate quote but I was told about this at the very end.

I was very dissatisfied with Tom McNeil's work. Tom was late to every appointment that we had (this past one was 1 hours and 50 minutes late). He said he would show up at my house on certain days and never showed (then used the excuse he was sick, but he never called). The kitchen backsplash that he laid cracked because he failed to use caulk between the tile and granite (After I had to look up why the grout on my backsplash was cracking on the internet and sent him an email then he said yes he failed to do that). The grout itself is very sandy to the touch. Obviously, he didn't mix it correctly because it never hardened properly.

"All labor is warrantied for ten years the problems were corrected within 45 days and Mrs. Harrington promised to remove this posting . We held up our promise and even covered cost for additional material. To bad our customer has'nt"

Tom and his team replace tile 2 bathrooms in 4 days! He did an outstanding job! Quality was great. Delivered what was promised and added some ideas in the middle to improve the look without any additional costs. I feel very qualifed to state Team Home is great contractor, as I oversee all the construction at a large Health System.

We were very pleased with Team Home Improvement. Tom and his crew were very helpful in tile selection, pleasant to deal with and the finished flooring is beautiful. They also were helpful in areas where they did not have to help, such as moving furniture, plants. Also, they cleaned up the entire area. Excellent rating from us!

Tom McNeil was scheduled to re-tile my shower for over a month in advance. From the first day, every day there was some problem why they could not get it finished on time. It took 4 weeks! They cut tile in both my master bathroom and my garage, creating a huge mess of tile dust on everything in my bathroom and my garage that took hours to clean. They dumped mortar on my grass and underground dog fence wires, but worst is they clogged my shower drain with mortar that hardened like a rock. Tom said he would come fix it but never showed up and I had to call a plumber for $140. Now he does not return my calls and hasn't paid for the plumber.

"A poor choice in taking this job the prior personel made several judgement errors all of which were corrected.Discussion i had w/ the plumber told me that a hair clog was to blame although he found grout residue. Unfortanty this homeowner hired a plumber before allowing us to correct any thing. We offered to pay half but she refused ."

TOM IS AN ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONAL -FROM BEGINNING TO END. I HAD A BATHROOM RETILED AND HE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! HE AND HIS HELPERS ARE VERY PLEASANT AND ALWAYS WERE VERY RESPECTFUL. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE TILING IS BEAUTIFUL! THIS KIND OF WORK TAKES SOMEONE WITH NOT ONLY SKILL IN LAYING TILE, BUT ALSO SOMEONE WITH ARTISTIC ABILITY. TOM HAS BOTH. HE IS HONEST, UP FRONT AND WORKED HARD TO GET MY PROJECT DONE JUST THE WAY I ASKED. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE - HE WAS, IN FACT, RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A CLIENT.

He is a very accommodating and knowledgeable person in this field and I felt confident that he was competent to do a good job. I also was happy to see that he was truly concerned about our satisfaction with his work and he spent extra time with us in person and via phone and email to make sure we were happy with the work.
