We hired this company for a basement remodel project. They also go by the name **THE MECKALL GROUP** This project included framing walls, plumbing, electrical, painting, replace indoor doors, fire door, new ceiling tile and new luxury vinyl plank flooring. They lack experience in all of these areas. One of the owners stated that either he or the other owner would be on site every day, that did not happen. When they first started they had a **foreman** who started framing walls. Then another guy built a wall in the laundry room that was not plumb.... They had a young guy here working by himself most of the time. This guy was the one who installed the vinyl plank floor by using glue, it was a click and lock floor...My husband called the owner about the use of glue, he stated that he was not using glue, only until we showed him a picture of the liquid nails, did they stop using it. When I asked him if he had ever done a floor like this he said yes, then the following day he thanked my husband for telling him the correct way to install the floor. They painted walls and then propped items against them that then marked the walls up. They never covered the floor once it was installed, therefore there were paint splatters and drywall mud all over them. They installed a fire door that was damaged and then had the painter sand and repaint it, even though we told him that we wanted a new door. The ceiling tile that were installed were cut improperly and have marks and stains all over them. They tried to paint over the marks and at one point the owner accused other subcontractors that we had in to do work, once their job was done, of damaging the ceiling tiles.... The steps they installed are not up to code.. When we sent them a list of items that needed fixed after they had **completed** the project, one of the owners told me **we cannot keep coming over every time you find something wrong**. This email I sent was at the direction of the other owner, regarding the items he needed to finish!! Be wary of their contract, that states **they are not held responsible for delay or failure to preform work when due to the inability to procure adequate subcontract services or other reasons beyond his contro**. It was a revolving door with subcontractors...inexperienced dry wall mudders, 3 of them. 3 different painters. The only positives were the electrician and plumber they used. Also the first painter was good, but then he was gone.... None of the doors they installed were level and plumb, they rubbed against the frame or the other door. Then they sent another guy/company to clean up the issues that we had pointed out....That work was also poor. Lack of communication, slow to answer texts, never answered emails. At one point, when we noticed the leaning wall in the laundry room, we texted the owner and his response was **WE GOT THIS, LET US DO OUR JOB**. They did not want us pointing out the issues that we noticed along the way. So, therefore on the last day of the project, when we were pointing out items that needed to be fixed, they were rushing around with paintbrushes to touch up items, which were done very sloppy, and at one point, one guy asked for a hairdryer to dry fresh mud so he could paint over it... BE VERY WARY OF HIRING THIS COMPANY

Josh and his team did a great job on our deck. They were very responsive, provided us with a quick estimate and showed up when they said they would. They made the process very easy. Great job!

Tim and his friend did an excellent job installing crown molding in my rental. We had to call them back to get caulking done but the workmanship was really good. He was responsive and took care of the job in a short time, pricing was reasonable as well. Definitely hiring them for my next project.

Excellent experience!!! Most honest, dependable, skilled, company that I have ever worked with. Will complete entire job including obtaining permits. No middle person (salesman) to deal with. Reliable, recommend highly if you want the job done right.
