Avoid him like the plague! Promised to fix things, ghosted me, took me years to figure things out. From the get go told him about too big of slope at floor crack at bathroom door frame up to ceiling , turns out that he didn't use mortar to connect old foundation to new. Basement never took on water prior to construction, never put cap on inside french drain, slope to sump pump not correct I put the cap on, no more flooding, now can't get anyone to repair foundation so water doesn't leak thru wall, this is happening throughout, especially where oil tank not put on pad next to house, I've been slowly tuckpointing this & built shed to divert water away from foundation as I'm 62 yrs old and move slow. cement pads disintegrating in basement that holds floor up, windows sills and outside door threshold take on water w/heavy rain, bent my water spigot pipe at well, numerous drywall nail pops and cracks, He doesn't care and I probably overpaid as well, This occurred approximately 10 years ago & I'm still dealing with the consequences. This also is the first time I've been able to find a place to review. Oh, and the shingles! Bad construct to the old part of the house here as well, poor product usage had to put on my own shields around outlets, not properly installed, used cheap outlets- replacing those, (haven't found anyone yet to figure out why outside outlet went bad fire alarms installed went bad after 2 years, stove not vented to outside, air vents in bathroom & laundry room barely work. your job may look okay, but wait a year and everything will cause other problems. so many things could have been avoided by properly compacting soil around foundation. My field is in healthcare and I've had to educate myself in construction, life is tough enough that's why it's taken me so long to learn about construction, had county inspectors out they don't even want to admit they passed this stuff, can't find a contractor that'll back me up so how do I even take him to court, much less having the time & money to do this! another thing, when installing light switch in bathroom I had to point out that it was behind the door so he just slapped on a piece of plastic over it- should've been a drywall repair, also no breaker switch above laundry tub just a regular outlet. He definitely has ZERO work integrity!

Indicated that the roof was in overall good shape, didn't need to be replaced, and recommended several repair suggestions which we had them do
