Kent was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, even when our bathtub got delayed in shipping and set the project back over a week. He stayed in touch, reassured us that he was tracking it down, and did as much as he could for the project while he was waiting for it. He kept the house incredibly neat while he was working and basically left no sign that he'd been here working at the end of each day! He's very responsive via text or email which was important to me, too. I've since asked him for a quote for another project, and really appreciated that he was honest and basically told me "Yes we could do that, but it'd be very expensive and probably more than you'd want to spend for what you're trying to accomplish." Definitely would hire again and recommend to all my homeowner friends!

My wife and I initiated quite a few change orders - 13 I think in the final plan, which we made after throwing jout the first one, right after getting city approval. We put the whole project on hold for about 4 mos. when COVID hit, and during that time we came up with a completely new floor plan. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the changes, the big one from â plan 1â to â plan 2â , and then the 13 or so minor to changes to â plan 2â , resulted in little or no increase in the cost. Kent always returned calls & texts right away, showed up onsite when he said he would, and fully supported us in making the changes we wanted - he fully explained the options whenever we were trying to decide on details. Weâ ve heard two horror stories from neighbors who were remodeling or rebuilding in this same timeframe, but we have only good things to say about Kent. The same goes for my son-in-law, who had him do a smaller scale remodel the year before ours - thatâ s how we learned about Kent

I had the pleasure of working with Tolzmann Construction on the replace and rebuild of my 30 year old deck. Kent was able to provide several different options that would work within my budget, to assure that the final product would fit our needs and meet our expectations. His efficiency and professionalism were outstanding, and I was never left wondering how my project was going. He was happy to answer any of my questions and concerns along the way. Kent also kept the job site clean, and safe for us, as we were still living in and using the house during the project. I will be calling him again when it is time for the interior remodel of our home.
