Cabinets Installation
$16,000
Took $16,000 of my money and did very little. Tore out my pantry and left. Ended up having another company put the cabinets in. I had good luck with them at first, but DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY CONSTRUCTION WORK, especially Eric. No idea where he is now, but I hope his conscience, is really getting to him. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

They are running a scam they use money from one project to cover the cost of another while giving customers the run around ultimately I got my money back after threating to call the police over 9 months of games and run around...I was finally given a post dated check that I had to hold on to for well over a week to be able to cash it...no matter what the review say stay away from this "company" they are running scams...n August 3, 2020 I signed a contract and provided a check in the amount of $6,770.00 to have a bathroom addition added to the home I currently reside in. I met with your team on September 1, 2020 and was advised that I was being blessed with a donation of a bathroom addition and I would cover the cost for drawings and permits, during the meeting. It was decided that the bathroom would be better if we closed in the patio and added it there. At that time I was very excited as the additional space would help. I am a foster mom who has anywhere from 5 to 7 children placed in my home at any given time. I spoke to the owner of the home and they were ok with the addition I completed a notice of commencement as the lese and was advised that permits would be pulled to begin the work. On September 17, 2020 I received notice that my aunt would need to complete the notice of commencement it took a few weeks to meet with my aunt and her husband however, the notice was submitted on October 06, 2020 since that time communication has not been good and even when I am advised that I will get a call back by the various office staff I do not. Although I appreciate the offer of closing the patio and addition of a bathroom. It has been 5 months and my frustration is that I need a second bathroom that was the reason I originally reached out. I am becoming very concerned that I may have made a mistake by choosing to work with the team. I am also concerned that this project will not happen and I have been taken for almost $7000.00. Please advise me as to the status of the permits and the project. Addition: Although they say they were prepared to begin my project in July, they were not they were also prepared to being my project in March... On March 24, 2021 had me even clear the patio so I donated my patio furniture to Habitat for Humanity (as I wanted to give back) and my schedule Eric said he was having car trouble and then he never showed....The next time they were scheduled to meet and provide me with an actual start date was May 14, 2021 and when that did not happen Eric said he wife was diagnosed with Cancer...The final straw was when Eric was supposed to provide me with final plans and a start date on May 21, 2021 he then alleged that he had a heart attack on May 26, 2021...more excuses than a person on death row. They scheduled several appointments and no showed or cancelled and the last moment. On May 27, 2021 when I advised that time was up and asked for my money back they continued to give me the run around saying that they needed time to transfer money or for money to clear this went on until I showed up and the office unannounced on June 07, 2021 after multiple calls even having my family call to see if they would answer the phone â ¦ they gave me a check and asked me to hold it until June 15, 2021 and I agreed. On June 14, 2021 Tom called and asked for more time. I advised that if I go to the bank and the money was not there I was going to the Sheriff. Ultimately they can claim that they were going to start or that they are not floating money from project to project they should prove it. I would never do business with this company and the lies are laughable what is not laughable it the fact that they played games for 9 months with my time and my money...they lied had me purchase items for a bedroom that I did not ask for I was willing to PAY for a second bathroom addition...ultimately they cost me time and money but more importantly TRUST...

Hired them in September, 2020 and paid large deposit and it is now May 18th, 2021 and they have not started the work. I have heard every excuse in the book in addition to blaming the city for delays in getting permit. Contacted the city today and found out that the city requested simple documentation of contractors license, subcontractor license info, etc. ,several times and most recently over a month ago and Tom has not provided yet. Whatever you do do not give them significant deposit upfront.

Not the fastest but did great work. Now they are remodeling my kitchen, and soon they will be replacing my windows. Our screen porch was facing west and was always too hot to enjoy. Tom Craig turned it into a part of our home by making it a sunroom, complete with windows and a split system air conditioner. Everyone who visits for the first time doesn't know that the room is an addition because it looks so much like our original home. Electric bill did not increase due to the great job they did with insulation. Thank you.

VERY BAD! Bad tile work. The work was left unfinished, Chips in my tub were never fixed. Horrible communication and bad work ethic. I signed my contract on 9/16/20, and, still to this day 5/15/21, the job has not been finished. I think, at this point, they have abandoned the job. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit. I would say pay a bit more and find a more reputable company. I do not know how they have been open for 42 years with this kind of work.

We hired this company to build a master suite and remodel a bath in our residence. Everything was, I though, fine until detail work was being done. Ran into substandard work which had to be Redone. The exterior door was to low to put in the tile floor so they had to remove it cut out more cinder block the replaced. Now you can still see the light thru the top of door. Tile in bathroom has been redone twice due to bad install that took six weeks. They cut holes in our vanity due to plumbing not placed right. We payed and ordered all items to be placed in bath ahead of time so no excuse. so they destroyed it and well need to fix. Barn door for bath installed incorrectly have to fix tile on floor to correct. Outside window not even with other windows. Flashing on roof is not level. Dry exhaust was just a cut with the tube was just shoved though a hole in the wall. They said our vanity top would be there tomorrow for the last ten months. They finally told us the first one broke, the second one was taking by an employee that quit. I have more but its getting me depressed by voicing it. They have lied on multiple occasions and I have text and voice mails as proof. Do not walk away. RUN. Ive paid them over $70,000 and I hate the room due to all the issues with this company. Zero stars.

Hired the company November 2020 they were supposed to do several things they were supposed to apply for permits every time I asked status of project they gave me a different excuse somebody resigned somebody got sick the doors broke in transit then I decided to call the city on April 13th 2021 and I was told all the permits applied for in Jan 2021 we are not given because they were not properly submitted no plans submitted etc so here I am waiting since the end of November 2020 as of today there are no permits for the doors or the room addition. An electrical permit was obtained by the electrician not them and the electrician had not finished the work either The county sent me a copy of the permit and I display them where the job was started I texted the electrician when are you coming back no answer I emailed the builder I called the one in charge no answers or misleading answers so basically I have not had anything done or completed I gave them a quarter of the payment and I called I emailed I am just exhausted because the communication is very poor I think 4 months is a little bit ridiculous I hired them because they gave me a good price but if I have to wait until I am 80 years old so they finish the work the price is not worth it I feel abused because I am single, a woman and an elder When they came they seemed kind but I was may be mistaken The county where I am at is very lenient they even asked me if I wanted to apply for the permits and they told me that for example the one for the doors is very easy to obtain the same day so I told the builder what to do I emailed them with a detailed description of what the city told me and nothing has been done 24 hours later there is no answer there are no permits applied for I am just praying the electrician finishes and then most likely I will look for somebody else

We had Tom Craig do a room addition from an existing patio covered by an existing roof, block off a rear bay window to create a new door exit for safety purposes, and build an additional concrete drive on side of the garage for additional parking. All work was done simultaneously with nothing, actually getting completed before starting new work. They had employees that leave the site during the day and left the house unsupervised with doors open and unsecured. First off, the additional concrete driveway, which I was told was a much stronger fiber mesh concrete, instead of a traditional rebar-enforced one. He withstands vehicle parking on daily basis (up to 5000 psi), actually began to crack within 30 days. They never did stress/relief cracks for expansion or contraction. Never took ownership of the fact that they were at fault. The room addition took them 4 months to complete the work when we were promised no more than 60 days. That flooring is too cracked like the drive but was told that happens even though no real pressure except for walking on was being done. Two years now since they completed the job, and the exterior stucco is cracking and they did a horrible job finishing the walls; visible imperfections around light and plug receptacles. They are a terrible company with nothing but excuses for the work they perform. I would emphatically not recommend them. I hope this review is a warning to all their prospective clients to call references and prior customers to get the real picture of their ability and workmanship. Buyer/remodeler beware.

Bathroom - Remodel
Communication between sales, management and subcontractors was horrible resulting in unnecessary delays. We submitted the list of materials we wanted the day after signing the contract. The entire look for our bathroom remodel was to be based on the shower doors. We discovered a couple of weeks later it had never been ordered and at that point would be on back order and likely unavailable so ultimately another choice was made. The biggest delays were the shower door and a vanity mirror. Our numerous inquiries were met with different excuses, but with both items when we did our own research we were able to find the items immediately. Our two week project became over two months. Because we were losing patience my husband did some of the projects himself (purchased paint and supplies and painted walls, moved wiring for and installed vanity lights, framed and installed medicine cabinet) and did much of the cleanup. Based on the sales presentation we were really excited to do business with this company but will definitely not use them again or recommend them. I?m confident that the problems and frustration we encountered could have been avoided with better communication, organization and planning within this organization.

"Toni, I'm sorry but the representations in your review are not all correct. Tom Craig provided you with upgrade after upgrade at no charge to you. We completed a complete ceiling repair, when it was only supposed to be 2 sheets. We allowed you to pick out tile that was above the agreed contract price at no charge. Tom Craig never agreed to move electrical outlets or fixtures as it wasn't part of the contract. We strived to meet every item in our contract. Which we did above and beyond. Including giving you a discount above and beyond the price of a mirror which we had difficulty in ordering. Also allowing you to pick a $925.00 commode when"

My own changes held up the job for 3 weeks. But 3 vanities later I was happy. They were very understanding that I changed my mind, and I was happy to sign the change orders and pay for upgraded products.

TomCraig was fairly priced and their work is fantastic. I hired them to do a large bedroom and full bathroom addition on my home. The work they did is beautiful and we haven't had a single issue since completion. Everyone I worked with at the company, from the owners Tom and Craig, to the employees answering the phone at the office, to the project managers and builders was incredibly nice and courteous. These were people that I never minded having in my home and around my family - something that is super important for a large construction project. Any time I had a question someone was immediately available to me and making sure I was happy. This is not a company where the person who does your initial quote and makes the deal disappears as soon as the work begins- everyone is involved the entire way through. Again, their work is fantastic and you can't use a nicer group of people.
