Tony's Lawn and Landscape

I HAVE USED TONY FOR ALOT OF DIFFERENT JOBS, including going after 75 Commercial Bags of Rubber Mulch for my Flower bed and around my Pool as I had know way to transport it. Also to put electric lights in my Flower Bed, witch look Great shining on my house and my Palm trees. I love to take care of cutting my own grass and keeping my yard looking good but I slipped in the my shower and broke my back in 3 places, so I hired Tony to cut my grass and weed eat and edge my side walks since I could not do it anymore. and I am very pleased with the lawn care he is doing with my yard, it looks Great. I hired Tony's Landscape to install sod at my home. After four and a half months not only is the job incomplete but the part of it that is complete doesn't even look good (professional). The 1st issue was that they were 200 sq. ft. short but they still charged me the full amount. (He said the sod farm shorted him and he was going to get the remainder from them and come back and install it. But that never happened.) Multiple times I contacted him to finish the job and to fix issues with the sod that was already laid. There were a lot of uneven parts, dips etc. (Texting is his preferred method of contact. If you call he rarely answers but that might be because it's loud when he is working and he can't hear it. Although one time he answered, said he was with a customer and would call me back that afternoon. He never called me back.) The back side of my patio had a section that was so high I couldn't open the patio door. The side of the patio had a small section they skipped. (Though they said it was on purpose because they were afraid of flooding in that area?) The sod was not growing together like it should be. (I had another company sod the front yard a few years earlier and within 6 weeks you could not even tell it was sod. All had grown together and could be mowed like normal.) There were also lots of dead spots and big hard roots that looked horrible. Tony came out to fix some of the uneven spots and he said the rest looked fine. He said it needed more water but would grow together on its own and it was safe to mow it. He told me that I needed to pull up all the dead spots. And he said he would be back within 2 weeks to finish the job. He said the rain had kept him from getting more sod because allegedly the sod farm can't cut grass when it rains that much. I told him that I wanted it finished by the end of June because that would be 4 months... Towards the end of June, I still had not heard from him but it had been raining a lot so I text him and said that because of that I understand he is probably running behind so I would give him until July 14th to finish it or I wanted a refund. Well July 14th has come and gone and I still have not heard back from him. I want a refund so I can have it re-done. This is just crazy.

Tony did a great job. Very happy with the outcome.

Called Tony Late Friday afternoon. Saturday morning he was at my house measuring up the area of grass that i killed, damn weed be gone. and by Wednesday afternoon the new sod was installed could not be happier with his service.
