I had a 75 foot pine tree fall on my house during a storm. This happened at 10:30 pm on a Wednesday night. I put in a request with Home Advisor for tree removal. Thursday 7:30 am Tony Mendieta, proprietor of Tonyâ s Tree Service called me. After I told him what happened he said he would be at my home in Oakland as soon as he could, he was coming from Marin. Tony got to my house at about 9:00 am, (weather and traffic delays). He gave me a fair quote, he did not try to take advantage of my predicament. I accepted the quote. He said he had another job already started in Berkeley. He had to go to the Berkeley job site and make some phone calls and he would get back to me in about a half an hour. A half an hour later he called me and told me a crew would be at my house in 1.5 hours. 1.5 hours later Tony and his employees started removing the tree from the roof of my house. They got almost all of the tree off of the roof. Part of the tree trunk was resting on the edge/corner of the roof. They secured it and said they would be back on Friday. I asked him if he could give me a quote to cut down 2 other large pine trees in my back yard. He gave me the quote, I accepted. He said Friday they would finish the first tree and have more employees simultaneously start on the others. The fallen treeâ s trunk is about 5 feet in diameter at the base. They came back Friday and with incredible precision they cut the trunk in such a way that it fell on the ground without causing additional damage to the house. It missed hitting the house on the way down by a sheet of paper. They came back Saturday and finished up on Monday. They did a lot of this work while it was raining. Monday morning it was raining so hard my back yard had 2 inches of water on the ground. I asked Tony if he wanted to wait until Thursday for better weather. He said no, we're prepared with rain gear and we're going to finish. And they did. Tony's Tree Service is amazing. Far exceeds 5 stars.

Tony and his partner did a perfect job of pruning and shaping several trees in both our front and back yards. And they carried off every branch and twig, leaving no debris behind. They were punctual and completed the job in the time agreed upon. We will definitely rehire Tony again next year!
