Jerry gave me a reasonable quote for redoing my deck. Showed up when he said he would and finished the job. I wasn’t happy with the stain saturation the first time and he came back and corrected it! Love the deck again!

Mr. Holloway and his crew re-roofed my entire 5 gable 1880's Victorian. I have officially retired my buckets and towels, as there is not one drop of water leaking. The roof looks phenomenal and is holding up to some severe weather we are experiencing. The men were exceptionally respectful and professional. Communication was above and beyond what I expected. I also decided to extend my contract to include prepping and painting the house. It was not an easy job as the house is two and a half stories, but they did all necessary repairs and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would personally recommend Top Notch Construction for older homes. It looks great.

He is not a Licensed Residential/ General contractor like he claimed to be. He performed very poor incomplete work on my home and pocketed over $21,800 in insurance proceeds. He has only completed approximately %30 of the contracted work, which will have to be repaired and completed by another contractor. His company is a complete nightmare.

"this customer is a person who had one motive and that was to get work done reaching far beyond the scope of repairs for nothing and when she couldn't; is now making me out to be the bad guy. I never claimed I was a general contractor. Only that I was a residential specialty contractor, but could and would see that all she wanted could be accomplished. keep in mind this was a insurance claim nothing out of her pocket, just promises of payment with delay after delay with no resolve."

The job was to replace 570 feet of existing/broken fence at the property line which was laced with foliage /trees that had grown over since the original fence was installed some 40yrs ago. It was a tough job since a lot of stuff had to be cut and removed including the old fence. After completion of the job, my picky/petty neighbor was upset that they had "gone over the property line" in some spots. This overage amounted to less than a foot to 8 or so INCHES and was due to going around trees sitting on the line. Realize we are talking about properties bigger than 10 acres of land here, so 8 inches is trivial amount. Jerry was great, he spoke with my neighbor and myself and explained the situation to her. He did have his crew come back and redo the areas of concern and reroute the fence around the other side of the trees. There was no extra charge.

Don't Use These Guys! Original Review - Very Flexible and friendly. Communicated very well with us on scheduling, cost and work required. Definitely would call on them again. They even followed up with us to ensure that the work was performed to our satisfaction. UPDATE - The original work was completed and it didn't rain for an extended period of time. When it did rain again it was still leaking. Jerry and team indicated that if it still leaked they would come out and repair it. Jerry's brother came out, looked at it and said they would talk about it. After repeated calls to Jerry and the office over several weeks they would not return a call and apparently aren't concerned that they took our money without completing the work. I would not recommend using these guys to anyone.

"It was explained to us that they had a life time warranty on the vent boot not a roof repair and we suggested for them to contact those people ,who installed the roof and boot vents which they replied they could not get the people to return their call. It had rained several of times with no response after the work was done. Felt that there was no problem. Yes they called and I explained that I havlng health problems and not be able to come back out."

Jerry called me within hours of my e-mail. He was very professional and his rate was very reasonable. He did trouble shoot the retractable door problem and gave his best effort. The door is now retracted.
