Great work

Jim is a fabulous carpenter. He built a beautiful window seat for me. Not only lovely to look at, but very practical, adding loads of storage in my bedroom. Would definitely recommend.

Jim did a good job on plaster. He was sloppy. He always showed up 30 to 45 minutes late. There was no communication. He did not advice me to cover those furnitures before the job begun. We got white powders all over. He also pushed the shoes and bottles into the rails. He should told me to clear them up. I had to clean the bottles again for refills. Shoes had white powders inside. The rails had reinstalled and a lot of gaps showing. I am not hired him again.

Jim was punctual, removed the damaged trim, replaced the new molding, and cleaned up after completing the job. It was an excellent job all around.

Jim came out on a Sunday to provide an estimate and made the repair on Monday. Thought the price was slightly high for the repair needed but within reason. The extra cost was worth it to me since I had no clue how to repair and the other contractor wanted to replace the entire door which clearly not needed. So in the long run, Top Notch still saved me $150. I will be using these guys again.

Was able to come out the day I placed the call in to Service Magic to make an estimate and was available to do the repairs the next. Seemed knowledgable and a good amount of time on the project (not as in it was delayed but as in he didn't seem to rush anything like the time between applying coats for the drywall). Value seemed good though to be 100% honest I don't know the field that well so it would be difficult for me to compare it to other services good or bad. Satisfied with the work and would see no reason not to hire again or recommend to someone.

Jim was great-he always came when he said he would, took his time to do the work correctly(he didn't appear to be rushing to finish), and charged what he said he would. Jim was friendly and courteous, and I would certainly refer him to anyone who needs home repair.

Jim Bausch did a wonderful job on my back door. He was very responsive with calls and emails. Unfortunately, for me it was not a big repair but one that could be difficult to repair. Wood rottening is no easy fix. But I am glad I chose Top Notch Contracting. The price was reasonable for the work entailed.
