I am in Kingsport where the radon levels are extremely high. I was recently made aware of this and began monitoring the radon in our home. After several months it became evident that it was a dangerous situation. Our radar level averaged around 6.2, well over safety limits. I contacted Top Shelf on the recommendation of a home inspector. Cole came out and inspected our crawlspace. After receiving his quote, it was a few weeks later he came out and installed the radon mitigation system. The day he installed it, my radon level was at 6.4.. not even 24 hours later it is down to 1.1.. I no longer have to worry about my family being exposed to something that could cause lung cancer. I don’t believe there’s enough awareness in our area over this issue. Especially if you look at a radon map of our area. I’m so grateful to call. He is professional, knowledgeable, and very communicative. I absolutely, without hesitation, recommend him to everyone.

Cole came out and trouble shot why my present radon system was not working. The first installer had drilled through my footing instead of my slab. He did not glue the joints and used poor quality materials and craftsmanship. Cole ripped out all the old system and installed quality materials and did a fantastic job making it look good. On all three levels of my house the radon is below 1. I would recommend Top Shelf Radon and use them again on any new house I purchase.

Cole came out to evaluate our radon situation after a home inspection report showed reason for potential concern. At this time we did not need to install a mitigation system, but Cole was completely forthright and transparent about costs and potential for concern. He didnâ t try to scare us or push us to make a sell; rather, he presented our options and helped us save thousands of dollars..
