Top Tier Roofing

Called Top Tier roofing about a roof leak. Ethan Smith came to the house and inspected the roof. He found storm/hail damage and suggested I call my insurance company. When the insurance adjusters came, Ethan was here to show the roof. They agreed to replace the roof. During this time. Ethan was professional, courteous and very helpful. The roofers were 3 hours late the first day. A crew of five, of which two spent the whole time playing with their phones. The first thing they did was cover the shrubbery and move things away from the house. I had a 5 foot iron stand and bird feeder in front of the kitchen window. They moved it out in the yard about 15 feet. Then they backed the debris truck over it. Then things started to go downhill. When the roofers left after the first day my place looked like a disaster zone. About half way thru the second day Ethan showed up. After telling him about the first day, he and a helper started cleaning up the yard. He made the comment that the crew I had was not the one he wanted???? They finished that evening and Ethan asked for payment so he could pay his crew. In the following few days I picked up many roofing nails, discovered numerous places where damage had been done to the siding, gutters, outside doors and landscaping. There also appear to be gaps between the shingles and dormers. Top Tier was also supposed to repair the damage to my dining room ceiling but after my experience with the roof, there was no way I was going to let them work inside my house. It has rained twice since my new roof was installed and my new roof has leaked twice and I now have spots on my kitchen ceiling that will have to be repaired. I have sent Ethan messages, called him and left voice mail and talked to Carol in the office, emailed Top Tier and have gotten no response. Talked to Keren with the company. She said someone would get back to me. Still waiting.
