Poor experience with Top Tier Van Lines LLC This moving company was a disappointment. On moving day the movers arrived many hours late, and they had only one truck, not two, as promised. This delay meant they could not complete the loading that day, causing upheaval for us. They got our belongings delivered one day late, and many boxes were not delivered to the right floor. The delays and boxes taken to wrong rooms caused us stress and exhaustion. Days later we discovered that they had broken the leg of an antique table and told us nothing about it. They taped the leg on and placed the table against the wall, never saying a word to us. Amidst the chaos of moving, we didnâ t notice this damage immediately. This choice of covering up damage reveals the lack of integrity in this company. We do not recommend trusting them because they are unreliable and not trustworthy. They should have been upfront and told us about this unfortunate error. Our agent at top-tier Van Lines, Jon, was friendly and seemed informed, but his assurances were not accurate. . He claimed our rate quote was binding, but the cost was increased later. Jon kept assuring us that we had a â binding rate.â What he failed to explain was that the rate was not the total cost of the move but a fixed price per pound of furniture and boxes moved. Although we provided the movers with an accurate accounting of the boxes we needed moved, John failed to update the moving contract, which left us surprised at the final cost. Beware that the company demands cash at the end of the move to pay the final cost. We regret not hiring a mover that could arrive when scheduled, offer more accurate quotes and would practice integrity. We regret our choice of this moving company.

On 02/02/24, I contacted Mandy Bowen at Top Tier Van Lines for a quote for a long distance move from Windsor CT to Gadsden AL. I stated that I would be shopping around for comparisons. Mandy said I could cancel the contract (TT1961155) within 30 days of the service date,but I would have to pay a deposit in order to get the rates she quoted. I decided to go with another company. On 02/02/24, before the close of the business day, I sent an email and had a telcon with Mandy canceling the contract. The deposit was $1713.25,I was told that the paperwork would be processed for a refund on 02/02/24. On 04/24/24, I received a phone call from Jon Davis, stating that he needed more information about my move on 04/26/24. I informed him that the contract (TT1961155) had been cancelled by email and telephone conversation. He requested a copy of the email, which I sent to him, he said when he received the email, he would show it to his manager and they would process my refund. I called Jon to confirm that he received the email, I talked to the manager, I think his name was Chris.He said because I had not sent the email to a specific email address within the company, would not acknowledge receiving it and would not process my refund. I would like my refund of $1713.25 asap for service not rendered.

the absolute WORST. after selling me with responsiveness and enticements, they picked up our stuff on 6/19/24 and we still do not have it, nor do we have a delivery window, NOR will they give me the location of our things. the last correspondence was an email i sent on 7/9/24 with no response as of yet. My daughter started a new job and does not have a bed to sleep in or any work clothes....this is ridiculous...

The movers ere great but the company lies and rips people off. I called and asked for a set price quote. I hired them based on that and my contact person Jon said I could call him if there were any problems. They were supposed to give me an arrival time on Saturday. They never called. Sunday afternoon I had to call them to find out what time they were arriving on Monday. On Monday they sent me a text that they were canceling my move. They came the next day and when they arrived at my new residence, they said I owed an extra $200 and would not get my items if they pay. They said I went an hour over the estimated time that THEY set up. I argued with a person on the phone and said that it was bullshit, the person on the phone then called me a scumbag and a faggot when I said I should not have to pay extra. I contacted my â contact person 4 times after I booked his company and he never returned my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will lie to you.
