Communication was severely lacking. Contractor requested 15k out of close to 19k cost upfront. No attempt at communication was made when project delays were encountered. Each delay required me to reach out several times across numerous contact methods to eventually receive a reply. Reasons for delays in work and/or communication ranged from health issues, a glitch in the email (company gave a start date they no showed for), cabinets damaged on delivery, an employee quitting and stealing countertops, and then being out of state for an illness. I want to stress that no attempt to communicate these delays were initiated by the company, but only in response to several inquiries by me. The employee that did partially install my cabinets incessantly curse even if my child was in the house. Currently I am awaiting to speak with the owner who is out of town, even though local community pages have mentioned the owner personally working on at least project locally.
