They did not show up for the originally scheduled appointment. Should have been my clue not to hire. Called the day after and set appt time. The first quote was extremely high but they did come down. I now know that the agreed-upon quote was still more than double what others would have charged. Over-promised on the work that they could do & under-delivered. Examples - Promised they had lift equipment to reach dead branches in my 20+-year-old maples. Used a step ladder and a pole saw. Said they would clean up. Left leaves, sawdust piles, and small branches in the yard. Would have left numerous branches that needed to be removed if I had not gone out and asked for them to be cut down. I paid a lot to get a below-average job done quickly. Should have known better.
